Have always walked past this unassuming, popular, small local family run bakery on the high street that I understand has been in business long before Westfield was built but never found the opportunity to try them until recently. It's clearly popular amongst locals and I noticed there were plenty of regulars dining from the moment I entered despite it being late in the weekend evening. I bought two fresh cake slices as their desserts on their display looked appetizing and loved it as they weren't overly sweet or overpriced either (£3.20 each and they're sizable slices too) - miles better than any of the local bakery chains or cafes nearby. It's got a lot of North African influence too as it's Moroccan, so I'm looking forward to trying some of their hot food next time too. Service was friendly and social, and they had my order ready in no time and carefully put in a takeaway box as requested....

I went there during the first day of Ramadan the shop was crowed (as you would expect).
The staff seemed overwelmed by the amount of clients but they dealt with it very weĺl and with a smile.

2 - Tidy the self-service area when possible. Some of the bread fell on the floor and some of Tomato Msemens were left there damaged.
3 - Remove some of the tables? They take space and make the circulation difficult (when it's very busy)
4 - Add more msemen with meat :) I love them but they were out of stock.
Again, it's my experience on the first day of Ramadan, so it's not like...

The mille feuille was rather lovely, too. Both tasted to other times, uncomplicated times, to one’s childhood, and being unpretentious is such a quality to esteem nowadays. We had ordered mocha but instead handed Moroccan tea — a mistake promptly corrected with apologies and a smile! Coffee was very strong and tasting to roasted, which I love — love so much, even just the smell of it, that I actually burnt my tongue with the first sip. If it weren’t so far from where I’m staying in London, would love to try...
