Tesco Express — Local services in London

Hi, I normally shop here as it's conveniently close to my work and the tube station. Unfortunately however, after the humiliating incident today I will not shop here again. Your member of staff accused me of shoplifting. While I would be happy to cooperate if the issue was dealt with in a professional way and with some consideration, your member of staff clearly lacked these.

Fortunately I had the receipt which proved I had paid for all of my food. Perhaps if he had done his job properly, he wouldn't have just randomly selected a customer he assumed hadn't paid and then dragged him to the wrong till. He didn't even apologise or look at me when he realised he was wrong. He simply told me to go away.

Most of the staff are very good and welcoming, but this elderly lady, is very rude and very snappy. The body language, the manner she speaks to you is not the way to speak to customers. I understand member of staff can have a bad day, but it’s unprofessional to transfer it to other.

For a store stating open 24 hours it is always close during night. Plus staff are very rude and even don't acknowledge you when you try to ask them a question. For sure I will not recommend this store! If tesco is dealing with only 2 persons in shop during the night then clearly or they are tired of their job or there are not enouigh person to work.
