Nope - DO NOT ORDER! We order from our usual Indian place Surma but it was shut today (Boxing Day) so we thought of trying out a new place. This one had good reviews so we went with the order but wow we should stop relying on reviews for sure or it was just a bad day in the kitchen? Lamb was so tough one couldn’t even chew it!!! Peshawari naan had no description so we went ahead w the order thinking it’ll be like a normal naan but OMG it was sweet naan w sugar and coconut! We threw the whole meal and that hurts me bc I hate wasting food. I think the lamb was old that’s was it was smelly and tough.

Yet another variety of Indian curries purchased that arrive identical in taste and colour. And the sugar, utterly nauseating. Even the naan is sickly sweet, “garlic” means plain, again as experienced before. Have yet to find a good Indian takeaway, one that doesn’t have shares in the sugary-yellow-lumpy ready-made wholesale curry sauce market. Heck, even grocery store Indian meals are better. Just had our first takeaway from Tiffins Club. And it was absolutely incredible!!! I had the Tandoori chicken and I'm going to say it was hands down the best one I've had in my life. And I'm 39. And I've put away a fair few Tandoori chickens in my time.So... to the owners, the management team, and of course the chefs - great job and thank you. We'll be ordering with you guys again, for sure, and we'll spread the word about...
