I agree with Megreen. Perhaps the management has changed because the service is shockingly bad.

If I do not receive my refund by tommorow. I am reporting this store to Westminster Trading standards.

It looks like Wild Things Flowers are not just overcharging but misrep, as in selling expired plants and then not providing refunds.

I phoned the store today and the lady confirmed whilst they received my email, my refund would not be made untill “a few days” so she could not confirm the date/time. How dubious…

Context:

On Tuesday this week I visited the shop to buy a bouquet of white flowers (hydrangeas) the foliage used was eucalyptus.

The customer service was pretty bad: I was given the impression the lady in the shop did not want me to enter as I walked in. She stood by the door way with arms crossed blocking the entrance.

Quality of flowers pretty bad: The very next morning/day the hydrangea stems are dead. Please see photograph below.

Compared to last year I think the shop has declined. Previously I could buy lovely peonies and hydrangeas etc and they would last for a week, sometimes up to two weeks. The quality was very good last year and there was no cause to complain.

However, the present service and the flowers is so bad, if stems die in less than 24 hours that means the flowers are clearly old (not fresh). The social media advertising is very misleading and I would not recommend this shop at all.

I will be posting more via Instagram...

If could give this place 1* for service, I would. I came in for a wedding bouquet, something simple, small, for my chic city wedding. The girl working there, a young blonde girl, perhaps eastern European shrugged and huffed and made maximum effort to appear disinterested and uninspired. She clearly did not want to serve me at all. The shop was empty. When I questioned why she was being so unhelpful she told me my 'reference photo had fake flowers in', so I'm like 'yeah, okay, but how do we recreate something similar with real flowers, that's why i'm here'. Trying to get ideas out of her was like trying to get blood from a stone. I would NEVER come back to this awful shop, it left such a horrid energy over my experience of shopping for wedding flowers and if it wasn't the day before the wedding itself I 100% would have gone elsewhere. My bouquet was OK, it cost me 77.00. Elsewhere, it would have been £30 max. Let's be honest, location and service is what we are paying a premium for at this shop, location is great, service is ABYSMAL! Hire new staff who actually want to be there! BAD VIBES! (Also, side note, just been through the negative reviews and whoever is managing them is being defensive and not taking feedback onboard, I suggest you take on board what people are saying and make efforts to improve, not insult your patrons with excuses, this was, hands down, the absolute worst customer service I've ever...

I have been following this business Instagram account for the longest admiring their posts about their flowers only to finally make an enquiry and my god, I will never understand the disrespect from people who believe they are superior to others just because they own a business in an affluent area. We got the point. You are not the only people in the world who may think something of yourselves. The communication I received via text was so random to begin with as if a drink person had texted me, very unprofessional when I first enquired. I literally asked for pricing of a particular bouquet and they were too hostile to even answer that. I could go on about such extreme disrespect from a company who have no manners but it is best to just spread the word about such inhumane people rather than ranting on. Please avoid for your own sake. You can see from the low ratings that people are mainly referring to their customer service. There honestly isn't any please customer service at all. I would say learn some manners but there are so many other lovely companies to purchase flowers from so I will leave this here. If this company disrespects you through their texts, enquire elsewhere. Do not entertain it. They will probably claim they have no record of our communications just like in the other comments. Once again, please avoid these people and have a...

I’ve never personally purchased from here but I have been fortunate enough to receive their flowers many times over the years. They do the most beautifully exquisite bouquets - seasonal, exotic, classic etc … I’ve never failed to love anything they put together. Even their single rose was just stunning. They have such a wide selection of flora and the way their flowers bloom and last, there’s no doubt they use premium quality flowers. They also don’t over pack their bouquets with foliage or fillers, and anything they do use subtly compliments and enhances the flowers rather than over shadows them. Now there is a tiny, almost irrelevant gripe; and I know this is very much a personal preference … the more recent bouquets and flowers have arrived with a new ribbon design which features block print on it, whereas I think their classic scripted ribbon in itself was such a beautiful touch to the flowers. As I say I’ve never purchased from here myself so they may well have multiple ribbon options and yes it’s a very personal thing but just a tiny thing which I think just added that extra something to the flowers. Oh and I also love the wax seals on their wrapping and cards - such a beautiful detail!

Wild things shop in Mayfair, London, created a truly memorable experience with their exquisite arrangement of red roses, delivered to my hotel room as a surprise from my partner. The flowers were vibrant and fresh, adding a touch of elegance and romance to our stay. The next day, we decided to visit the shop in person, and it was just as enchanting as the flowers they delivered. The shop exudes a timeless charm, with an atmosphere that immediately brought to mind the classic beauty of English summer poetry. The flowers, displayed with care and creativity, made the entire experience feel like stepping into a living poem. If you're in Mayfair and looking for a flower shop that captures the essence of classic English charm, this place is a must-visit. Whether you're sending a thoughtful gift or simply want to enjoy the beauty of fresh blooms, this shop will leave you inspired.
