Windmill Flowers — Local services in London

I know a couple who live in this postcode. They both lost a grandparent this week. I found Windmill via google search and gave them a shot. Called them up (nothing quite like a human interaction). They listened and understood immediately what I wanted. Half an hour later my mate texts me "did you send us flowers?"

Half an hour. My mate wasn't even home from work! The neighbours took in the bouquet.

I have many friends in London, and trying to find a florist who answers the phone after a google search is really difficult! I shall absolutely be using this florist again as my first preference.

Cheaper than interflora (who today assured me that they totally couldn't deliver my preferred bouquet to anywhere other than a funeral of a named person). Personal service. Sympathetic. DO NOT BUY FROM WINDMILL FLOWERS Flowers ordered online were not in stock ,after paying was i notified of this. Flowers delivered to different address due to no access. No notification did i receive to say delivery was completed to alternative address, no phone call to recipient to notify of attempted delivery, no card left at original address to notify of attempted delivery. Flowers still have not been collected from alleged delivery address. This is disgraceful customer service and a lack of due diligence of business. I am surprised you are still in business. My money and flowers have gone in the wind with the Windmill. You should be ashamed...

Bought a bouquet for some friends who are having a baby. Ordered just after midday, and they were delivered the same day just after 4pm. I phoned just after placing the order to check the delivery address and the woman I spoke to was a delight. Very helpful and explained also that she would have to make a little substitute owing to the fact some of the flowers in the photo were not in stock. Of course this is not a problem, and in any case it didn't make a difference, if anything the final bouquet was even more beautiful than the photos online, my friends were very touched!
