Chippel Bay — Local services in Lyme Regis

Lots of fossils to be found along the cliff side here. This is one of the best parts of the Jurrasic Coast even if it's not as scenic or photogenic as others. Digging fossils directly from the cliff is prohibited with good reason. There should be no need to go near the cliff anyway as there's plenty of rocks available directly below. Great beach for fossil hunting and if you venture further toward ammonite grave yard there's plenty of rock pools. Fossils galore in the fallen rocks. None that could be chiseled out as they would of took hours but loved the adventure no small fossils found but still enjoyable and more experienced eye maybe could find some fossils...
