Hallé St Peter's — Local services in Manchester

First visit in a long time and originally a church for the local area. Beautiful interior with many original features. Now it had been given a new lease of life. It was a my first visit to a classical music concert played by the famous Manchester Halle Orchestra, they and the lady opera singer were absolutely amazing, talented and gifted. The music was truly magnificent, beautiful and out of this world. The music is for everyone regardless of background, culture,gender or age. It is family, dementia, autism, disability friendly. It is much intimate, so everyone can just relax and listen. Towards the end the audience were invited to ask questions and to move, dance and use the musical shakers to feel more involved. Beautiful church owned by the Halle, as a rehearsal space for the Orchestra, but has many other uses. Recently, Fever have done many concerts who have played to 200+ audiences. The space is also home to many choirs, even those from the community. Camarata and Phsappha have held concerts here too. We,ve also had a number of weddings and receptions here as well as corporate events! We've also had outside events held in here too! St.Peters is even bigger now, since the extension. We have offices, single rehearsal spaces, a Cafe on site, run by Cotton Cafe and the beautiful Victoria Wood Hall.....so lots of different activities or rehearsals can take place at any one time!!! The interior is stunning, with soaring ceilings and pillars that help to set the space apart. If you are looking for an unforgettable venue to enjoy one of the best days of your lives then you will struggle to find a more unique setting.
