Ordered chips and peas which cost £6.50 The sign says "up to 40mins wait at busy times but its worth it!" Well, I disagree. The price is excessive for a pot of black coloured peas 😳 and a 6 inch square carton of chips. When I asked if they were peas, Sue bluntly told me yes, they are peas. All the Peas I've eaten before were green and not black/brown in colour. It took 30mins for our order to arrive. The Chips were nice, the pease did taste of peas and I do not have a dodgy stomach yet 🙏 (reading the other reviews). We went on Friday at 17:30 so they would be busy.

Was not worth the wait and price. We will not be...

This is good for tourists who would be impressed by any kind of seafood stand. But for £12 for a crab sandwich made on shop bought sliced bread with an extremely scarce filling - it’s over priced. We had a crab sandwich from a stand in another part of the island for £9 and the filling was dense and flavorful.

The seafood platter was also over priced for what it was. A small amount of smoked salmon, coleslaw, a single langoustine and some pate with bits of sliced bread £15? This would not fill one person.

I don’t mind paying for local seafood but this felt over priced for...

I got beef burger and chips... obviously getting a burger from a place known for its fish is always gonna be risky but it was literally just the meat in a bun, no lettuce, tomato.. nothing (my picture is after I half ate it because I was hungry anyway. £5 is overpriced for a burger like this. The chips were really nice skin on chips, whether they're frozen like the other reviews suggest, I don't know, but they were nice nonetheless. £3 for the chips which seems to be standard...

We are not big fans of fish and chips.. but when in Tobermory one must. Great fish and chip and other fish takeaway dishes freshly prepared and we appreciated the lightly battered fish (haddock) unlike .most fish and chips in the UK which are heavily battered and oily. and the chips portions were so large we couldn't finish ours and thats unusual for us. pleasant seating outside on the pier or edge of the sea wall but no covered space if its raining.
