Previous review was disappointing but it's important to give credit when you have a positive experience.
Last weekend I again was using the self service and some how my bottle of beer bottle top got wedged between the basket wire and popped open......beer everywhere. Self serve area busy with people waiting. A blonde member of staff was quick to act and super helpful, along with a cleaner. Very good service under alot of pressure.
Last year's review...... Using the self serve terminals. I requested some bags as there was none on display. The staff member kindly brought some over. She politely reminded me to scan them.
Yes of course and I did this.
At the end of the scanning a alcohol sale needed to be verified. Once verification was done the staff member seemed to take an age.... Then it dawned on me that she was checking that I scanned my bags then asked me if I had paid for them, quite aggressive. . I informed her that I had and she is welcome to continue checking. She then ran off at this point.
Still good.
Needed a wrist bandage. Young girl stopped her online shopping task to help me find them.

Yes another if many visits. This is no reflection of Morrisons buy cannot trust the price increases. King prawns £2.50 then three days later £3.25.

Read moreI am so very disappointed.. I don't use morrisons often, and I popped in on my way home. The store was so well presented and the stock available was impressive. I actually started to consider shopping more often. And then today after 10 days Morrisons have obly just taken payment for my groceries. This actually made my account go overdrawn and yes, I could transfer more money in but I shouldn't have to. I cannot understand how in these times a payment takes 10 days to be taken. This is not ok and for many people would interfere with shopping this week. And some may sit there and think we'll it should of been obvious it hadn't gone out - no no it wasn't i have so many things going on at this time and I did not actively think I must check to see if the Morrisons Grocery shop has been taken from my bank account. And no its not a bank issue, it has NEVER happened with anything else. It means for whatever reason Morrisons are not presenting the card payments from store in the same day.
As a result and knowing I do not have time to check my account regularly I will not be shopping at Morrisons anymore. I am not willing to take the chance again.

Read moreJust don't bother would be my opinion & go to Lidl or even Tesco instead. The fruit/veg section had many gaps in the overpriced produce. This was 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The chilled meat pre-pack display had gaps & ham that looked off. The over-blaring 'musak' in the store reminded me of Key Markets in the 70s! There were fresh meat reductions which were still more expensive than other stores. The Xmas reduced section had prices I would not pay normally for goods. Cheaper in Home Bargains or B&M. I did buy some loose pears & went thru self scan & was all but accused of putting the wrong prices in. "Let me see the prices of your conference pears!" said the senior checkout operator next to the self-scan. No please etc. The s-scan having no one manning it. The fact I had Abate Fetel pears & not conference pears obviously not observed. Bread section looked ram raided. Big pile of frozen foods left to defrost in the frozen aisle in their boxes awaiting being put in freezers. Put it this way, there was hardly anyone in the store either staff or customers.
