After somewhat never experiencing the same childhood nostalgia I had when having a dominoes back then I had all but given up in the company. I learned getting older each is a franchise and its up to the individual store owners to want to adhere to quality and standards. I order from the tulketh (preston west) dominoes, at first 2 months ago and the exact flavours from my childhood were there again. The quality was as good if not better and the delivery man 'dave' was super friendly and efficient. I hate the anxiety of grabbing your food out of the warmer bags when its all piled upon each other but he pops it all in my arms with a friendly joke and cheery smile each time. The food quality and the service of this particular franchise are phenomenal and after 5 orders I'm yet to experience even a miniscule slip in those standards. This is the best domino's franchise in preston maybe even the best in the entire north west and beyond and maybe some of the poor reviews are some of the others based around this large city or maybe previous staff and owners. Spent £53, got a text saying it had left the store and is out for delivery. 25 mins goes by and no sign of it (I live less than 2 miles away down a straight road). I called up to see where it was to be shouted at by the guy on the phone saying “he doesn’t know where it is he sent it out” I asked for his name which he refused to give to me. Then he continued to put the phone on the counter leaving me talking to myself. I put the phone down after a minute or so and called back. He continued shouting at me and refusing to give his name and also said nobody else was in charge only him. He then told me to complain about him as his job is to cook it not deliver it. Also telling me the driver is driving slow as it’s heavily raining (48 mins for 2 mile drive), cautious guy isn’t he. We ordered a vegetarian pizza for our daughter who CANNOT eat meat. Upon inspection we found traces of ham on her pizza which she'd already eaten a slice of. She gets incredibly sick if she eats any meat and as as a result of the careless actions of this establishment, our daughter ended up in hospital. After speaking with several incompetent workers over the phone we did not receive an apology let alone any compensation. We were told we could redeem a free pizza the day after but upon ringing the restaurant we were met with hostility as the workee demanded a photo of the pizza that had already been thrown away despite the fact a manager just a few hours before had said we could call for a replacement. This branch reels of unprofessionalism and clearly prioritise money over the well-being of a sick child.
