Chunky Fried Chicken - Stockport — Restaurant in Stockport

From Jan 2022 till 2 weeks ago me and my family we used to order the same ( mixed family bucket + 2chicken burgers ) we pay for it with tip £40 to £45 each time. we do that regularly 3 or even 4 times a month so it's almost like a direct debit in my monthly spending. In our last 2 orders we had a very poor experience I asked for 8 pieces of Chicken thighs as my kids lik and as I always order the same they send me 6 chicken legs and 2 brests with only 2 mini chicken burger and they haven't sent the other 2 chicken burger !! So i rang them to complain they apologies and offer to send it but it was to Late as we have to go out so I said leave it till next time the week after we placed the same order family mix bucket and 3 chicken burgers and I ordered the same 8 chicken thighs without mentioning what happened the week before (I decided to let it go) everything was fine until 10 minutes later someone very rude rang me to say we don't have thighs only 3 prices ! I said no problem we will wait for your next lot to be cooked then he replies there is no next lot this is what we have take it or its up to you ? !! It was only 5 o'clock and they close at 10 so clearly he was not telling the truth and trying to force us to eat what he wants not what we like ! very poor customer service and unprofessional I'm sure there is a better way to say it specially if you take in your consideration there is more than 6 take away near by. DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY HERE Usually had decent service from here. But the guy I spoke to today was worse experience ever from this place(think he is different to others I used to deal with). First of all, I was promised a £5 discount as a regular customer spending about £20 to £30 weekly. But the guy only gave me £1.5. I did not mind though and did not even mention that but just paid for it. But when I received order, nothing that I asked for was there. Although this happened many times before but was minor like asking for prem bun and not receiving it, but i did not mind; but this time was too much and the customer service on phone was just abysmal. Another thing that really annoys me is that I have got more than 3 drivers delivering, and none of them wears masks or follow guidelines in this crazy period. I think I initially left them a positive review on JustEat so I wish I could change that. Needless to say, this is my last time ordering from this place, and the one star is for the previous good experience I had...

I used to order here all the time when I lived in Stockport. I've never been anywhere that's quite matched this place. Like Stockport, It's got a soft spot in my heart, my new heart. Destroyed the last one ordering from here all the time. Was it worth it? Absolutely.

I still think about this place now. Which I know is weird. But its the bar I compare all my takeaways too. It's never been surpassed. I have this fantasy of walking back in there one day and being recognized. We embrace like old friends and I get a king burger and some strips. HEAVY SCANS. YENO DA! as we say here!
