The armoury is a friendly and cosy pub, if you want a relaxing night out,or just a quick pint, then give it a visit, the outside rear of the pub has a great beer garden/smoking area, set up with plenty of benches/tables and flowers, giving a back garden feel to it, their are plenty of beers and lagers on offer,as well as a good variety of bottled beers, wines ,and snacks,the juke box gets a lot of use but isn't on high volume and makes sitting in the lounge room enjoyable, although it doesn't have a car park,people tend to use the church carpark next door in the evenings, this is a disabled friendly pub with good access to the front as well as all areas on the ground floor, the staff are friendly and efficient at...

The atmosphere in this pub is always lovely, it feels so welcoming and open anytime I've visited. The staff provide attentive service and are super easy to talk to, no request seems too big, I really appreciate their consideration for their customers. Not to mention the food was incredible, portion sizes are always generous and it came out only 10 minutes after ordering so it was perfectly hot & presented really nicely (even for how quickly it was made!). This pub has sadly lost it's atmosphere and the local community spirit it once had. Until the Covid period it was an amazing pub which was well run by Sheila Barlow and her partner Dave. Sadly Sheila called it a day and for the last few months new management have been keeping the place ticking over.
