A Floral Designs made our fairytale come to life.

Ayana, the owner of A Floral, is incredibly talented, has an unmatched eye for detail/style, communicative, and reliable. When we first reached out to A Floral, we chatted had been chatting with a few different florists. After our conversation with Ayana, the decision was easy. She listened to what we wanted and made it clear that she would get it right.

Once we decided to go with her as our florist, the care and support didn’t stop. We visited her shop where she gave us beautiful displays of what we could expect on our big day. Most importantly, she worked with our budget to achieve our vision. She also came along during our venue walkthroughs so she could see the space and be adequately prepared for the wedding day.

She’s also a kind person—which may not seem important now but trust me! A compassionate person who is willing to work with you when things get stressful is very valuable.

Ayana and the A Floral Designs team did the most perfect decor for our wedding! It was not an easy job because we had 250 people in a large hall. But working with her to come up with a vision felt so easy - she suggested ideas where I needed them, gave me the freedom to make my own design choices, and helped me make good decor decisions to stay within a target budget. The vision first comes to life in a virtual mockup that Ayana creates - this was so helpful to ensure that there are no surprises on the day of the wedding about the decor. Throughout the entire process, Ayana was an excellent communicator - she responds quickly and thoroughly (even when my family was being confusing about edits to the plan!) Not to mention, she is extremely kind and pleasant to work with! The final wedding decor was even more beautiful than I imagined: Ayana gets all the little details AND the big vision! I left a stable job of ten years to join what I believed would be a long-term opportunity at A Floral Designs. Within five months my full-time hours were cut to about twelve per week, which made it impossible to stay financially stable.

Management was rarely present, communication was unclear, and most daily responsibilities were left to me. I tried to help the business grow, but was never given consistent direction or support.

During my time there, I observed recurring disorganization that affected both staff and clients. Several weddings required refunds because of planning mistakes, and the promises about staffing and job security were not accurate—I was the only employee, even though I was told there was a team. Pay was unreliable; one month I received no paycheck, and my final pay was delayed due to payroll processing issues.
