I was at Macy’s Willow Grove today to look for a wedding dress. As I’m browsing around at the fitting room area there were three women, also a sales girls dresses in lily pulizer dress and matching mask.
Well everyone I’m horrified from what happened. Here it goes. This other costumer approached the sales girl who was standing at the fitting room area and she asked to use the fitting room, she told her it’s closed due to Covid she directed her to another fitting room on the other side of the floor. The costumer than asked why are they useing it. The sales girl said well they’re not allowed too it’s closed i can’t wait for them to go away. Than the other costumers who were waiting out of the fitting room said wait what why are you talk like that about us. ( to the sales girl defense yes the fitting room was closed). But she didn’t handle it well. She said I have a guy waiting to use this fitting room and you’re taking to much time. Let me remind you this was the formal dress area. So I thought to my self. Isn’t this fitting room closed also you’re chasing woman away from the right to use the fitting room that’s provided for them. Again I was shook to what she was saying.
At this point the costumers were upset one of them was pregnant and the sales girl was yelling at them I was shook. The costumers were too so they asked to speak to a manager. The sales girl rolled her eyes and how’s gets the manager his name was Will I found out his name from an employee in second floor…I’ll get to that.
Will walked in on the lady’s face telling her to leave . She went ballistic and boy I would too. I could believe he was telling her to leave. He didn’t even listen to what she has to say. His employee was at fault. The security was there too. He was very nice. He did ask me to leave and not witness the situation but I explained to him that it was not the costumers fault, and Will is harassing. I felt very bad for the pregnant one bc she was being quit and letting the other lady taking I think they were sisters. Anyways security man said they don’t want her to yell, but they made that situation I was angry too.
Well @Macys it don’t matter if a costumer is spending money or no money. You have the right to have rules and policies but you have no right to treat people that way. Will and the sales girl should be fired not coaches but fired. My mom doesn’t speak English and she will mistake the closed fitting room and I tell you you yell at my mom find a hole to hide bc boy no one will ever disrespect my mom, or anybodys mom. Shame shame shame shame on you.
Ladies be aware supporting this store you will get harassed, disrespected and god for it they might call the cops on you for something you didn’t do. Imagine trying to go to Macy’s on a Sunday and they ruing your whole day when all you wanted to do is shop.
Why would you have a business if you don’t serve the...
Read moreI usually like Macys but I didn't enjoy my experience in the shoe department recently. I was shopping for my mother as we had a funeral the next day and it was late at night. I finally found comfortable shoes that she could wear, but the shoe had an imperfection. The associate took a brush out to see if it could be buffed out and said "oh it's just glitter." It clearly wasn't glitter but rather a deep scratch in the suede and told her so. I asked if I could have something off. She said, "Oh. Well, it says as is."I asked her where it said that at? She said on the receipt, which i clearly didn't have yet because I didn't buy the shoes. She tried to tell me "oh I can't take off a percentage. See, it's grayed out on the register for me to take it off. " Everyone knows you need a manager for this, but clearly, she didn't want to take the extra step. Like I said, we were in a pinch, so I had no choice but to buy the shoes. But then afterward, she looked me in the eyes and says to me "You can't return them". I looked at her thinking she must be off in the head because I wasnt even thinking of it and I said " I wasn't going to" as if I was that desperate to get the money back. 🙄 The other issue I have is that the Macys backstage is a complete mess. There are clothes all over and disorganized, making it extremely hard to want to shop in there as it's very overwhelming. Which is a shame because they have nice things there. On a good note, there is one very nice cashier associate who works backstage (wears her hair in braids). Over the years, she has been consistently respectful, friendly, helpful, and always puts the customers'...
Read moreIf I could give no stars.... some of these cashiers are straight up rude with the nastiest attitude. I come in all nice and respectful and here I get back rude grumpy old ladies at the cash register. If you come at me with attitude do expect back attitude. Don't act shocked too. You want to bark at me, I can bark back too. Level 3 housing and backstage cashier were horrible. All I wanted was a return and money back for a shirt that got scanned 2x a few days ago. Instead of getting me a manager right away, they sent me back and forth from level 3 to 1 to 3 and back to 1. Mind you I have 3 kids with me too. One cashier accoused me of trying to scam Macy's. Well excuse you because yall the ones scamming me that's why I'm here. Check your camera since you want to accuse me. Maybe you should ask your coworker what's wrong with them for charging me 2x for 1 shirt! For those 2 old ladies, watch your mouths. Just because your senors does not give you the right to talk nasty to anyone. And shame on you and the other cashier in backstage for sending me back and forth from level 3 and 1 with 3 kids on me. Instead of getting your manager right away you wanted to make life hard for me. In the end, the manager didn't even say anything and gave me my refunds for my returns and gave me back the $16.99 i was charged extra. This just show yall are straight up messed up for what you put me through. I hope the next people you treat bad put tou in your place as I did to you today. They get you 3 fired as well for they way you talk and treat customers. I hope so because no one else deserves...
