I spent an excessive amount of time trying to decide where I wanted to shop for my wedding day attire. This is the most monumental day in my life and I wanted to make sure I look absolutely impeccable. I went to SuitSupply & Indochino and wasn't impressed with the quality of material or customer service. These questionable experiences prompted me to explore more custom and luxury brands. After doing some exploring I settled on Edward Baumann Clothiers. Firstly its appointment only which is exactly the luxury experience I was looking for. The customer service right off the bat vastly exceeded any I had encounter thus far. I live in Atlanta and making the trip to Dallas was a stretch but it’s my wedding so lets go all out! After speaking with them it was clear they were going to make the trip to Dallas WELL worth my while.

My expectation was that of a typical suit store. I expected lines of suits, casual wear, and shoes all displayed for you to buy. This is not your typical shopping experience. This was undoubtedly the most splendid surprise when I arrived. There was no pushy salesman in a snappy outfit with a semi european accent breathing down my neck to sell me clothes. There is a full bar and lounge area, not a single suit in sight besides a couple very dapper mannequins. When you go to Edward Baumann you're not shopping for slacks and a jacket you're getting a highly tailored clothing experience that is zero to none. I was taken into a beautiful ordained fitting room and displayed the finest fabrics I could every imagine. Fabric swatches of the most delicate wool, silks, and linen I could Imagine. I have been to the Lake Como and Bellagio to the silk and clothing stores and I can personally attest that Edward Baumann goes to the greatest lengths to match if to beat the quality. I ended up with an absolutely stunning tuxedo with a custom James Bond 007 interior, tailored exclusively for McCarley Prichard. The jacket itself had the most subtle and delicate paisley design than you could hardly notice until you were standing directly next to me. The tailor Irma went out of her way to accommodate my body style as I have extremely large calfs! I have always been self conscious about them and she fitting my trousers perfectly.

Overall I would give my experience here a 12/10 and it was worth the 2 trips to Dallas. Edward Baumann himself as well as his sterling staff will go above and beyond to make sure you look like absolute elegance. I could not...

I have found the last tailor I will ever need. Alex and Bob showed me what it means to have a high end tailor and work with people who have pride in their results. They have always delivered above and beyond my expectations.

Every piece is scrutinized to perfection and comes out fitting perfectly. Not only are they amazing tailors but guides as well. Alex offers expert advice and they will not settle until the order is perfect and you're satified. If it isn't to their standards they wont let you leave with it. Bob very well might tackle you first before letting you take it out the door. There is no "close enough" with them. Which shows they genuinely care about relationships and treat you as a friend as opposed to just a client.

Decades of subpar tailors made me believe I will just have to accept mediocre clothes because of my atypical body type until I met Alex and Bob. Their process has always gone above and beyond all my previous tailors and the final product shows.

I want to start off by saying I am a customer for life... I would like to start off by saying I called Sarah which I was glad I spoke to her she helped me and was amazing.. She directed me to Melissa after words.. Which Melissa helped me out with all I needed answered all the questions I had and suggested what all needs to be done speaking to her was just like I knew her for years... I went ahead with the process came in to the building. Which was very nice and comfortable... I spoke to Bob from there and he took time to come speak to my family and I keep in mind for 2 hours..he answered all our questions and concerns... we shopped around and for the work and experience there is not a person or company that I was happy with after..
