I came here five weeks ago as part of a birthday celebration for my Mother, and it was my first time ever at an Outback Steakhouse (hard to believe for an American 20-something, right?). I'm so glad I came, though, as I loved what I ordered and the restaurant alike.
I haven't historically enjoyed onion, but I found the "Bloomin' Onion" fantastic, even aside from the bread appetizer we had. I thought the latter was pumpernickel, but it was far softer to the bite than my expectation and had a great taste. As for the main course and sides, I ordered a "Steak 'n' Mate" plate consisting of a center-cut sirloin, "Bloomin' Fried Chicken," macaroni and cheese, along with asparagus.
With the steak at medium doneness, the chicken having a moderate crisp, and substantial portion sizes, the foods were wonderful. At the same time, I think I got unlucky with one piece of asparagus being undercooked, as I struggled to chew it. Luckily, the other 4–5 pieces on the plate didn't have that problem (I'd be much more concerned if it was undercooked meat). Aside from wanting to try more items from Outback's menu in the future, I'd gladly re-order the same meal.
Not only that, the "Chocolate Tower" cake my Mom ordered and shared with our party was a spectacular close to the meal. The service from the restaurant employees was also wonderful, as they routinely checked-in with our table, refilled our drinks, and even came to sing the "Happy Birthday" song.
Overall, I'd happily return!...
Read moreWent in here with my wife saturday afternoon looking for a good meal. Up until we got our food the service was okay. Our menus were never picked up and our server completely forgot about me. I got the salmon with rice and a potato bowl soup. The salmon was good but the rice was very watery and mushy and I was waiting for our server to check up on us to ask for a salad instead as I wasn’t unable to eat the rice. Our waiter spends 15 minutes talking to a table and we are waiting for him to check up on the food. He glances at us but doesn’t aknoloedges us or checks up to see if the food was to our liking. After 20 minutes he finally checks up, mind you me and my wife were done with our food besides the rice. I ask for a salad and the table behind us also asks for 2 salad. He comes backand drops a salad right infront of me and seems bothered because he dropped it infront of me and feels like he has to give us the salad now, He doesn’t say anything all he does it sigh loudly infront of my face and walks away. He then apologizes to the table behind us and says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to us after that. Overall I paid close to 80 dollars for horrible service and feeling belittled just because we were young and we weren’t as many people compared to other tables. I was thinking I would’ve found another casual spot to eat for date night but I wouldn’t like feeling like trash compared to other customers...
Read moreOrdered online from the app, wings, which are on special and have been for a while. I’ve ordered them before and was charged the “special price” w/o receiving the side order. No problem, made a call in, spoke with Morgan, was told to come pick up the corrected order. Apologies were expressed even a complimentary drink offered. About a month or so later, I ordered the same thing, still on special. Perfect, called complimented the manager for all things right, on duty manager was surprisingly Morgan, exceptional customer service. Same online app order made today, get home, no side as promised. Wings are still on special and when ordered, comes with a side. Called in spoke with Tony “manager” who said “ we’ve had this problem with you before. “ ….um sir, I’m not the problem, I only want what I ordered and what was offered. Yes we’ve had this issue before, which was corrected w/o the attitude and the condescending tone. He then says “ oh so you talked to me before?” As if to lead up to an “ah ha” moment because he hasn’t been at the location that long. Clearly if you can see this was an issue before you were assigned to this location. The franchise is keeping track of orders, which they should. Such information should be used as a tool to track inadequacies within the franchise. Not for you to try to demean the customer base. We are the only reason you...
