I’ve been buying suits from Smitty for 30 yrs. Not only is Smitty a genius Clothier, he’s a wonderful person to know as a friend. I was looking through my suits this morning. I have a dozen or more Lionel Smith suits , some over 25 years old, that still look as fashionable today, as then. Also, I have Smitty casual ensembles he suggested from 25 years ago, that I often wear. I’m seeing Smitty soon to freshen my wardrobe. Yes, I’ve gone for a less expensive suit a time or two over my career, only to throw them away after three or four years.
