Alley Downtown Taproom — Restaurant in Aiken County

LACK OF SERVICE. TERRIBLE!!! I was with the family on Aiken and was looking for something different and I spotted this place. They open at 2pm Sundays and it was 148pm so I asked if I can wait which what he responded but outside in a very rude manner. Which it was my original plan since in this pandemic I try not to be in door. Good service would say, yes sure but would you have a problem waiting out side??... but in any cass, where I think it was disrespectful was once I stepped out to set everybody outside He closed the door very badly. The Alley Taproom is always on our list of places to visit when we go downtown for an evening. It's such a fun and unique experience to be able to help yourself to the variety of beers, etc. they have on tap - definitely a place to bring guests who are visiting for the weekend! There are board games, etc. to play while you enjoy your beverages (and food - if you order from Whiskey Alley they will deliver it to the taproom). My only complaint is that there are way too many sour beers on tap - they need to take a few of those out and put in some more non-sour varieties,...

Friendly atmosphere and excellent selection. Froth Scouts get discounts on certain taps (rotates weekly) and a variety pack each month. They also have a tablet to order Whiskey Alley and have it delivered to the taproom - excellent way to spend an evening!

Update, July 2022: still awesome! Great place to meet up with friends and let kids run around (outside, in the alley). Great selection for everyone (our group was happy and is made up of IPA lovers, Sour Lovers, and NA friends) and King of Pops Popsicles to...
