I’m so glad I stumbled upon Replenish Marketplace here in Alameda! I really appreciate how thoughtful and intentional this place is — everything centers around being local, eco-friendly, and reusable. They’re totally plastic- and toxin-free, and I love that they only carry brands they trust and would personally use. It’s clearly a passion project, and you can tell the owners put a lot of time and care into making this shop feel welcoming and purpose-driven.
It’s family-owned and their first location, which makes it even more special. Plus, it’s the only reuse and refill shop like this in Alameda — otherwise, you’d have to go to Oakland or Berkeley. The beachy aesthetic they chose fits Alameda so well and pairs beautifully with their clean product lines — calming and fresh.
I haven’t started using them for detergent yet, but once I finish what I have at home, I’m definitely planning to come by more often. It’s literally just a few minutes’ walk from my apartment, which is super convenient. Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in the area — let’s support our local businesses doing...
Read moreMy wife told me she passed by this place and it looked interesting. I went in recently and checked it out. I wanted to get some hand soap and body wash. Laria and her husband are so cool. They know their stuff and seem passionate about their business. The physical space is inviting and warm. They have a large selection of different products like laundry detergent to dish soap to hand lotion to candles. Anyway, I found a scent less hand soap and a lavender sage body wash that I filled up my bottles with. Self serve is cool! They support local businesses that are in Oakland or California. They support and follow the closed loop business model which makes a lot of sense. More than anything I feel it’s important to support local businesses in any way possible especially now with everything going in. Check this place out and see...
Read moreWow, I have wanted the option to just refill my products for so long and now it has arrived here in Alameda. The store is lovely but even more importantly the products are mostly locally sourced, of excellent quality and the owner of the store is keeping the prices reasonable because she cares about the cause. If you want a way to reduce plastic and packaging and prefer products made from natural ingredients this store has a wonderful selection. Don't forget to bring your mason jars or plastic jugs to fill. They even have a table of clean receptacles others have brought in, if you forget yours, so maybe bring extras for other in your community. Speaking of community this is a treasure in our community so please support this store so it can reduce waste and provide clean products for us and...
