If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! From start to finish, working with Chris Seelenbacher was an incredible experience. We went in to have our wedding bands made, and not only did he deliver, but he truly exceeded our expectations.
Before finding Chris, we had visited many other jewelers but just didn’t connect with any of the styles. The moment we sat down with him, everything changed—he listened carefully, shared ideas, and helped bring our vision to life in a way no one else had.
What stood out most was how we were treated—not just as customers, but as friends. Chris took the time to guide us through every step and made us feel completely comfortable. The attention to detail and craftsmanship that went into our rings is absolutely stunning. Each band feels so personal and one of a kind, we love them!
I also did my homework beforehand and compared prices at other places, and I can honestly say Chris offers very fair and reasonable pricing for the quality of work and service provided. It’s rare to find someone who balances artistry, professionalism, and genuine care for their customers so perfectly.
We are beyond thrilled with our wedding rings and so grateful we found Chris Seelenbacher. If you’re looking for custom jewelry that’s unique, beautifully made, and created with heart—this is the place....
Read moreI had a bracelet, and 10 vintage charms that I wanted to make into a charm bracelet. I wanted the charms soldered on with sterling silver (I have another vintage charm bracelet, and all the charms that were not soldered on are gone). A friend who is an Alameda-native recommended Seelenbachers. I called, Seelenbacher answered and said, "Come on in."
I don't think I had tried the bracelet on for quite some time, and when I went in to pick up my bracelet, it was WAY too tight. All that work... and the bracelet was too tight.
Mr. S said, "Give me a sec," and went into the back. I heard him exclaim, "No way!" I was wondering if it was a good or bad thing... a few minutes later he came out, and three additional links had been added to my bracelet (a nearly perfect match). Unbelievable. When I asked what more I owed him, Mr. S said, "Don't worry about it."
Guess what? That's how you make a loyal customer, going the extra mile. I won't hesitate to return to Seelenbachers, or to recommend...
Read moreRude owner, it was 2:16pm when I arrived and 2:20pm AT BEST when I left, and he was acting like he wanted to shoo me out the door when I was nothing but polite to him. Not to mention him picking up the jewelry I showed him (to inquire if a necklace that was printed 'sterling' on the back truly was sterling silver) just for them to huff, grab it, check it for 2 seconds under their magnifying glass tool, then practically slam-toss it at the table to tell me its costume jewelry.
Then acted extremely rude when I asked the proper way to clean that type of non-SS metal jewelry, to clean it yet not rust. They said "I guess just use baking soda and water. That's it", bluntly and matter-of-factly, as if I'm some moron. Not great at all.
The young lady who previously checked my diamond ring for me and politely said "Holy mackerel" after it indeed tested real, was sweet though and deserves all the blessings in the world.
The older man working there needs to improve his customer service skills. Big...
