Spirit Halloween — Local services in Albany

It's always been fun to go and look at everything. Prices have gotten so expensive, but my husband and I were looking forward to buying this years Halloween decoration for our home. When we went, we had our two young children with us, preschool and less than a year old. The mall the store is in has grocery carts and I was happy to have found one as I didn't have a stroller for my little one. As we were looking around, a store employee kept circling us, that feeling like your being stalked or watched. Made us feel awkward but we didn't think anything of it. Until she approached us. Not only was she snappy, but she demanded that we leave because we had a shopping cart. She just turned and walked off without a care in the world. according to the website, spirit does allow grocery carts inside the stores, especially because they sell large items or customers purchase several items. Mind you, the store had maybe 15 if not less people shopping with us at the time and we weren't blocking any walkways. We won't...

Went in a few days ago, loved the customer service, hated the product I got. Was looking for bright yellow make-up/ eye shadow, and I found a glitter 24 color pallet that had the colors I wanted, but when I went to try it out at home I was SUPER disappointed. You barely touch one of the colors and you can see the bottom of the tin already. Trying to apply the glittery gel is difficult and has very little coverage. It is like 99% gel with glitter ever so gently sprinkled on top. While I wasn't expecting high quality from a $13, Halloween eye shadow kit.... This is extremely deceiving and I couldn't imagine how crushing it would have been had I waited and not tested it first. At least now I have time to search for an ACTUAL eye shadow before...

Did not enjoy going in. The aisles are too narrow and the music is too loud. When we went in on this last Saturday, there was only one person at the register and she seemed to be on the phone trying to trouble shoot something. The line was backed away up.
