Finally got to go in to this shop! After reading so many reviews I was curious. Eric was super chill. But I also got to witness a customer interaction, he is serious and straightforward. I can see why people don't like it. But on the other hand, I would rather have him be straight forward than lie or make up something. Great selection of sports cards, my husband and I love that he carries hobby and high end verses retail and low end. Best selection in the surrounding areas, just know that he doesn't mess around and is straightforward. He bad mouths product he carries because he knows it's actually bad (we love that) and he shows love to the product that's really good. We know that shopping at other shops as well, card shop owners are obligated to carry the bad stuff and good stuff. We love the honesty and that's why we will be back. My personal opinion is that this shop is incredible to the right person. And in previous comments I have read where owner states "diehard" or "serious people" or "casual" he is not kidding. This is a hobby store that carries mainly hobby selection and is definitely made for the "Die hard"...

I have only been in this shop a couple times on my way through town and you can call it whatever you want but your a jerk, your rude and act like you know more then anyone about cards…everyone I have ever talked to about your place says the same thing…your lucky there is t many card shops in Albany cause your trash…and you don’t have much in your store to even be an ass about…try to be cool like the guy around the corner with the other shop and you would do a lot better…I’m sure you will have some stupid reply how you don’t care but it’s obvious when you go in and see his store always has people while yours is empty everytime I...

My fiance and I went in to have Eric take a look at my grandfathers collection of baseball cards I inherited after his passing, Eric really took the time to educate us on the difference between cards and the value and market on each set. His honesty is raw and valued by his customers. Will continue to come to him for business and asking more questions. Most people are in the game to scam people and he’s a real talk...
