Big Town Hero — Restaurant in Albany

What a joke of an establishment. HORRIBLE customer service by not only staff but owners as well.

This big town hero is absolutely a joke! The customer service is beyond awful. I called due to my spouse having a horrible experience and was told by one of the owners “I don’t have time for this” and then hung up. He refused to provide his name and would not provide any contact information upon request. Will not ever go to this location based on how they treat customers and especially by an owner!

My spouse did not intend to grab lunch but stopped in real quick and forgot his mask in the car. Once told he needed to have one he pulled his hoodie over his face. The extremely rude employee (the lady with purple hair) then told him that wouldn’t work. So she then BARE HANDED gave him mask, he declined due to not knowing where her hands had been and not allowing him to grab it. She then told him and my daughter they had to leave and pointed at security to escort them out.

You have an EXTREMELY RUDE employee working at your Heritage Mall location. She has purple/grey hair and glasses. When I approached the counter to order she would not step forward to serve me. I did not have a mask on, which for me is a personal choice not to wear. I will respect a business who chooses not to serve patrons who do not wear a mask but I will not give my business to a company who employs people like her. She was very rude to start with, didn't even try to be civil with me about my lack of mask. Her body language and manor with which she spoke to me was short sharp and unkind. I asked her if I had to have one, she said yes, I said seriously and she said, "Did I stutter?" This woman doesn't belong in customer service. I walked away from her at this point. She could have started out with much less attitude and even kindly offered a mask if I had needed one. But she chose to be hostile. Until your business chooses to either allow unmasked people to buy from you or she is gone, I will not be...

Place has completely gone down hill! Have ate here for so many years, but lady with purple hair is absolutely violent and rude beyond any realistic customer service and just basic human standards. Someone who acts as she does should definitely not be in any human contact especially for a job but in general would never be as openly rude as she is. The way she spoke to me and especially my 13 year old daughter is BEYOND uncalled for, talk to adults as you will but when you speak and treat my daughter the way you did you should be absolutely ASHAMED of yourself and removed from your tiny position of management if you can call it that!! Also watched cash and register handling then straight to making food with no hand washing. Cashier and sandwich makers adjusting their masks then straight to handling customers items or food.

Instead of here go to NO BALONEY SUBS AND SALADS!!! Way better food and customer service that you can...
