Don't submit a buylist unless your cards are literally flawless. Pictured card qualified as moderately played. If you aren't interested in purchasing cards don't act like you are, absolute joke. I understand 'going by the book' but maybe your book sucks, I've spent thousands of dollars across your locations please search my name on your rewards system, to have my time wasted in a situation where there is clearly mutual benefit is beyond frustrating. Especially when the manager is literally talking about how a worker at the store needs cards I brought in. If I were the one actually profitting from the store I'd be upset. Your management was more concerned about making a 'hate to be the bearer of bad news' quip than actually working towards creating a positive customer experience. You need to search what light play qualifies at in your industry because this is far above industry standard.

Great staff who are involved and knowledgeable about the products they have available. They have regular tournaments, events, and have a weekly Dungeons&Dragons meeting. They have board games available to play in store, if you want to try them before you buy them. If you are looking for a place to get MTG,. Yu-Gi-Oh, or Pokemon trading cards, they have a wide variety. They have Warhammer books, miniatures, paint, brushes and more for that tabletop game. Other tabletop game offerings include, Bloodborne and its various expansions, and other assorted titles such as Dungeons&Dragons 5th edition books, premade adventures, and 3D tiles, miniatures and other accessories to bring the game to life. They even have sets of dice with little ducks in them! I included a listing of their latest event calendar, but they update their Facebook page frequently as needed.

The store has a great aesthetic and the atmosphere is visually appealing. The service was fine, though it seemed understaffed. Their card selection is relatively decent compared to other card game shops in Albuquerque. However, I was disappointed to discover that some of the booster packs appeared to be resealed, and the cards in the display case turned out to be proxies. I purchased several items, and upon inspecting them at home, the cards could be peeled and we slightly altered. I’ve never encountered this issue with real cards and never expected a large store to sell fake cards for real card prices.

Good selection of used cards, but the purchasing and payment process is a bit of a pain if you're shopping in-store. I made the mistake of inconveniencing the employees by placing an order at the Lomas location.

I had made a purchase at the Rio Rancho store the previous week (on my phone while standing in the store), and it was handled within a couple of minutes in-store with no emails beyond the "Order Confirmed" email.

I had to order from this location because they were the only location with the cards my kid wanted, so I placed an order the night before and then went in to pick the order up the next afternoon, around an hour and a half after they opened. The employee behind the counter went to check and came back to tell me they hadn't pulled the cards yet, but they were working on it. A few minutes later the same employee brought my order out, but it was missing one card. Not a big deal, he was able to grab the card after he got done helping some other people.

I had to place another order for a different card that I forgot to add to the original order. I paid, got the automated confirmation email, and then asked the guy behind the counter if he knew how long it would take for the order to get pulled. He went in the back, came out, and said there were a few orders ahead of me so it would be a few minutes. Again, not a big deal.

My issue is here: after hanging out near the counter, scrolling facebook and watching a couple of youtube videos and generally trying to be available for my order without being in the way of other people that were shopping, someone came out of the back and handed me my order. They then told me, "Next time, wait for a confirmation email before you show up. I have, like, a billion other orders I'm working on."

Again, the only other time I've purchased anything from this chain was at a different location, where the order was handled in a couple of minutes while I waited in the store. I didn't know there was an order confirmation email that I needed to wait for.

After this buying experience, I plan to avoid buying from the Lomas location, and probably the other locations as well. I think I'd rather wait for an online order from a different supplier to arrive at my home instead of driving across town to be reprimanded by someone for trying to buy a card while standing...

Collecting Pokemon cards is a fun pastime that my sons and I have been doing for about four years. Every time we open a new pack, the excitement between us three remains just as thrilling as ever. We have built up quite the collection. We recently started coming to Duke City Games on Saturday to play in the junior tournament. Everyone is very nice and its really cool to be around folks that are just excited as we are. My sons are excited to play, show and trade their cards. Duke City's website is so awesome because it gives you an actual cash and trade-in value for your cards. My son like to sell his cards to Duke City and buy some from their collection.

Moreover this post is more about this last Saturday. My son and I forgot his binder full of all the cards that we have for over four years collected. They were monetarily valuable, sure, but they were more sentimentally valuable. Six days later, I went back to Duke City in the hopes that it was still there, and sure enough, the most amazingly kind person who works for Duke City, named Kitty, had seen that we had left it and saved it for us! I am deeply grateful for her generous act and hope it brings her joy and...

This store is fantastic! I was so excited to finally get to check this place out, I moved to PA last year and never got the chance. So when I visited recently I definitely made it a point to go. The person who was working was very nice but kinda made me feel like I was bothering them, I asked about paying and was told they don't accept cash which wasn't an issue, it was the attitude behind it, I returned with payment and was told to leave and come back since they were alone and couldn't leave the store unattended to fill my order, again not an issue, but yet again, attitude. So I returned again to pick up and again the attitude person was there but directed me to another person who gave me my items. I have no idea what I did to enrage that employee but next time I'll have my payment ready and not bother them as much. Also I felt so out of place and like I didn't belong, ive worked in alot of customer service places and understand people can be stressed but wow, a bit unnecessary for the attitude 😅 I spent about $200 and will probably spend more when I come back, you have a wonderful selection and great quality cards so I'll come back and try again with hopefully...
