Twisters Burgers and Burritos — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I love twisters, such a New Mexican classic. I always get the green chile cheeseburger combo and it hits the spot! The only problem with our visit today were the employees and the other individuals inside or around the building. When we pulled in, we noticed one of the employees looking outside at some people who were outside while she was calling the cops. We made sure to hurry inside to order quickly and then leave, as we were making a bigger order. Then while we were standing inside, we had yet to be greeted by any staff. While we were waiting one of the women who was outside when we pulled up ran inside fast to refill her plastic bottle with water. Finally after 2-3 minutes one of the employees walks up to the counter and doesnt acknowledge us at all yet she is speaking heavily under her breath. She then looks at us and asks us what we want to order. While we are waiting for the food, a man starts walking through the cars in the parking lot, mine included and then runs into the restroom that clearly says "For customers only." Yet he runs in and locks the door. The one employee who was on the phone earlier walks up to the door in which employees enter and locks the door behind her. This severely worries my roommate and I. Luckily our food came out and we left ASAP! Definitely recommend going in the day time or through the drive thru. Might not...

We don't usually come to this location since we have three including this one to go to. There wasn't a line when we got to the drive-through. There weren't any more than 2 cars in the parking lot. We ordered our food. The gentleman taking out order had a hard time understanding what we wanted we had to repeat ourselves a few times. Not a big deal, at the end of us ordering he repeated it back correctly to us. When we got to the window the young lady working the window was taking an order while taking our payment. She did not verify our order. We waited a good five minutes. Once we had gotten our order we could clearly see it wasn't what we had ordered since both burritos were not smoother. We told her our order was incorrect. She pulls out the ticket and says well this is what he charged you for. She did offer to take it back and fix it. At this point my boyfriend just wanted to go home. The food overall was good. My burrito was missing ingredients that it's supposed to come with as a standard. The reason for the low star is because they were not busy. Just careless. We will continue to just go to the Juan Tubo location we have always received the best customer service there....

Very poor customer service. I went through the drive thru and had a simple order. I hear the employees giggling and messing around through the speaker, not paying attention. I had to repeat my self several times. I ordered a kids meal taco with no garnish, I get my food and there’s garnish on the taco. I proceed to give it back to be remade and ask for a salsa when it comes out and she says I have to pay $1.17 for a side of salsa. Girl, what!!! I come to this location all of the time and nobody has ever made me pay for a small side of salsa that comes with the taco!! I mentioned that and she just stares at me with nothing to say. I had to pay $1.17 for a 1oz side of salsa, ridiculous, just like the people who work here & have no common sense!! I’m surprised they didn’t make me pay for ketchup for my fries!!
