Updated review (and pics) for our Veteran's Day 2023 visit: We arrived about 1800 and were told we had a 30-40 minute wait, which was surprising, given the time of day and it being a Saturday. It ended up being a 50+ minute wait, but we expected up to an hour before we even got there, so it wasn't an issue.

Once again, the food and service were awesome! Hannah L was our server and she was wonderful. Other patrons were a nuisance, but overall, it was another great visit and we were content. We tried some new things but also had some of the same things from our previous visit. We also received a free appetizer and 10% off our entire order, as my significant other is a Veteran.

Thank you, Longhorn!

We stopped here on 30 Sept just before 1800, and had a wait time of about half an hour - not bad considering it was a Saturday! The waiting area was a little cramped once it filled up, but it had comfortable seating.

We were seated at a booth closest to the bar, and although it was a high-traffic area, it was a cozy spot. Our server (he said his name but I didn't catch it) was excellent! He didn't forget anything, and came by to check on us just enough to let us enjoy our date and meals. He also made sure to explain a couple of things regarding our meals so we knew what was included to avoid ordering two of the same side (which still happened due to an afterthought, lol).

The food! Oh my goodness, the food. The bread and butter, and our appetizer of the Texas Tonion, were delicious and had such appealing presentations. My significant other ordered the Longhorn steak and added mushrooms and shrimp, with rice and fries for his sides; I had the BBQ chicken and shrimp Grill Masters combo with mac n' cheese and a Caesar salad. He enjoyed everything he had, as well as the bite he had of my mac n' cheese, and ate as much of everything as he could before he was too full. His steak was cooked perfectly to order, as well.

As for my food... let me preface by saying I DO NOT eat seafood, aside from enjoying fish once in blue moon. I ordered that particular combo for the chicken, with the intent of having him eat the shrimp. When our server brought out my salad, my significant other told him he forgot to add the mushrooms and shrimp to his steak, and he wanted eight shrimp. So before our meals came out, I decided I would try one of the shrimp that came with mine, out of pure curiosity and since he was getting the same amount that was included with my combo. Y'all, I ATE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE SHRIMP. If a place can make you enjoy shrimp more than the chicken like I did, they're doing something right. The chicken was decent, it just wasn't as good as those shrimp! I never thought I'd say that, but Longhorn made it happen. The mac n' cheese was divine, and the Caesar salad was NO JOKE the best I've ever had at a restaurant. I'd honestly go back just to have a meal of shrimp and Casear salad, lol. The only thing of which I wasn't a fan, was the rice pilaf - but I'm picky when it comes to that particular rice, so it isn't their fault I didn't like it much. So yeah, my first experience at a Longhorn was fantastic, and I'm glad he chose such an awesome place for our dinner date. My leftover chicken and mac the next day were also yummy, but of course way better fresh.

Parking is kind of a pain, and when it's full you have to park in the nearby stores' parking lot, but a full parking lot is a good sign and therefore it's not a bad thing to have to park further out. Overall, you won't regret dining here, and I HIGHLY recommend you do! And get you some of them SHRIMP (no butter needed)! You...

After half an hour wait, which was fine and very understandable, we were seated and a server named Brianna served us. She was pleasant and seemed to be new to the restaurant industry. She gathered our drinks and appetizers and went off to put them in. She returned with the drinks and straws and we ordered our food. About 5 to 10 minutes later our appetizers arrived and we enjoyed them. My nephew spilled his drink and dropped his fork, he is 5. After a while Brianna returned to the table and I asked her for some paper towels and another fork and drink for my nephew. She returned shortly with paper towels, but not the drink or the fork. She then came back after a while later and we asked her for his refill and fork again. She said she'd get us all refills and she did. But no straw or fork for my nephew. I walked up to the hostess stand and waited a couple minutes as the hostess was sitting some guests. I asked the hostess for a fork and a straw and was handed the fork, but told to get a straw from our server. I walked up to the bar and waited a couple minutes and asked a girl behind the bar for a straw and then dat back down. Our server shortly appeared after me getting what my nephew needed and she asked us if we wanted dessert. We were dumbfounded as we hadn't received our food yet. We told her and she was embarrassed and said she go check on it. At this point we had been sitting for about 45 minutes. It was busy and looked severely understaffed and being in the service industry I understood. Not seeing a manager on the floor the whole time indicated to me that the manager was probably cooking and/or expo for the food. I was aware that our food wasn't ran and that Brianna never checked to see if the food hit the table as she looked to be very new. She returned with our food and immediately we were aware that it was reheated as majority of it was Luke warm at best and other parts were cold. She returned and asked how we were doing. We said nothing. She left and sat there and ate our food because complaining is not a thing we do. Reviews are, but not complaining. We got the bill. Paid the full bill. And tipped her 20 percent because that's what you do. It is not her fault that she wasn't trained to get a manager if something is wrong. Or check the table if the food was ran. Or make sure the guest has what they need. She looked young and unexperienced and we didn't take that out on here. The management team in a whole, especially the general manager should be ashamed of themselves and embarrassed. And if there was a shortage of managers and the general manager was the one there cooking, then shame in the district/area manager to let any employee suffer like that and hurt customer service. Worst longhorn in existence and recommend getting food from the gas station down the street as the serive and food would far exceed their...

My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time after being recommended, and we were very dissatisfied! The host and hostess were great and friendly, so we thought so far so good. We did have to wait for about 10 minutes to be seated, which is normal for a Sunday night. No big deal!.... the moment we start walking towards the seating area, there were several small tables available, so our thought was why did a party of two have to wait to be seated when there was only two big parties ahead of us. Our waitress was quick on getting our drinks out, and was patient while we decided what to order. One of the big groups was seated in her section, my husband and I wanted to order before they were fully seated, but instead our waitress pretended she was busy while walking around with a stack of plates and would turn around and walk away every time my husband tried to get her attention. Finally after trying to get her attention for about 5 minutes she took our order. The salad and bread was brought out quickly and was delicious! 10 or minutes after ordering our waitress comes to our table and explains they ran out of the 8oz sirloin, again no big deal, my husband ordered something different. A few minutes goes by and the waitress comes back and says they ran out of mushrooms, and her excuse was "this happens every Sunday". By this time we were very annoyed because our waitress was unprofessional, inattentive, and unknowledgeable. The rest of our dinner went downhill from there. My husbands steak was extremely undercooked and had to be sent back but was exactly the same when our waitress brought it back out. The wait staff was completely rude, the waitress who brought our food out literally dropped the food on the table and walked off without saying anything. The manager was too busy bussing and serving tables, instead of checking on all of his customers. Our waitress was focused more on her big party, not once did she check on us after we got our food, we had to try to get her attention each time we needed something. Our experience was horrible, and we won't even give them the benefit of the doubt, nor will we recommend this...

Update: The APP sucks! Do not use the app to get on the waiting list. The hostesses have passed us over the three times we have used the APP, because it did not properly communicate with their systems. Make sure you stay within eye sight of the hostess stand and watch the people around you. It is frustrating when four other parties that came in after you, are seated while your party is still waiting on a table. The food has gotten better, no more rotten spring mix, and the steaks are cooked per requested temperature. The chicken is also cooked just right. Inside the dining room, the service has gotten better. There was an employee who would help with the To Go orders in the evening times, and she was a doll. Always had a smile on her face and it was great seeing her. Update: the past couple of times the food has been mediocre to no bueno. Tonight alone, the salad was wilted and slimy. I spoke to the manager and she ensured me the salad is cut fresh daily…….. well here is a Picture of that freshly cut salad. Be careful. If you choose to use the app to join the wait list; their system will send a message and you may or may not receive it. If you do not receive the message, your spot will be forfeited. Steaks were tender and flavorful. The loaded baked potato was delicious.

Normally, I'm not disappointed with this place. However, the service from the server olivia, was horrible and killed our mood especially when taking family out for dinner who are in the metro visiting. She was rude, argumentative and did not really check in on us. We asked her for a moment to review the menu which turned into almost a half hour wait. Bread and butter were not served until requested. And she needs to adjust her high pitched tone. I felt like she was screaming. One individual asked for ice tea and she was brought sprite and this individual did not feel comfortable telling her she ordered ice tea because of her horrible attitude approach. We all placed our order and she screamed it back to us affirming what we ordered. Then served one of the ribeye dinners with mashed potatoes that was not asked for then argued with me stating mashed potatoes is what was requested and aggressively pulled out her notepad to check then returned with fries. I was adamant about leaving a tip with the horrible and rude service but left something. Olivia needs to be polite, actively listen, and bring her tone down. If you dont like serving, then move on. Disappointed because longhorn is preferred over Texas roadhouse.
