My life went to total crap after me and my children were in a hit and run accident last year. To make matters worse, I was also 20 weeks pregnant at the time and couldn't even get the proper follow-up medical care I needed to assess the injuries to my unborn child. I was injured and becoming depressed with worry for my child, my insurance would not cover any sort of treatment or physical therapy due to the cause being an accident that was someone else's fault. Because my job is very physical, my finances were also falling apart. Being that our accident was a hit and run, there was no other party to take responsibility, even with the plate number and description of the vehicle, the police would not pursue any further action initially.
