Do not take your vehicle, mine was damaged, and the owner hung up on me.
Going to preface this review with a direct quote from the OWNER: Ruben G.
"You're business doesn't come first." Promptly followed by him hanging up on me.
I took my SUV in for a wash on 01/11/2020. It wasn't very busy; maybe 3 cars ahead of me with about 5-6 people working (including the cashier and manager). My vehicle was on the automatic tracks going through the car wash, I was inside waiting and looked through the glass as my vehicle was making its way through the wash. I noticed directly in front of my vehicle a Toyota Prius stopped in the middle of the wash with a worker inside. As I noticed my vehicle getting closer and closer together I ran outside and flagged down the attendants informing them of the impending collision of my vehicle with the Prius.
My car was eventually pushed directly in the Prius which was stopped, the attendant was still inside, confused on how to operate it. Another attendant beat on the window until he opened the door and directed him on how to operate it and get it out of the way. The Prius was moved forward and my vehicle continued through the wash. As my car exited the wash and was outside for drying they dried my vehicle as well as the Prius. My car, was scratched on the front bumper.
I spoke with the Manager, who saw everything that happened and we exchanged information. The manager provided me with the owners, Ruben G, card and information about when he would contact me. I was told I would be called by the owner before the end of the day. That never happened, I even called the phone number provided on the card with his name and title on it, as well as left a message with my details and the situation which I was told had been passed on to him by the manager.
Today, one day after the situation (01/12/2020) I called the owner once again after still not receiving a phone call, as well as left another message. Eventually I drove back to the car wash and spoke with the same manager and let him know the details about thus far having absolutely no one reach out to me about the situation. I had my son call Ruben from his phone which received no answer. About 20 minutes after my son called, again from his different phone number, Ruben called back. At this point it was clear he was obviously ignoring my phone number after most likely hearing of the incident/listening to my voicemails.
Ruben, upon answering, stated: "Hello, I received a call from this number". Again letting us know he was checking his phone. I spoke with him letting him immediately know about the situation and how disappointed about the lack of integrity in my situation. Immediately Ruben interjected letting us know about a family emergency he had been dealing with.
I completely understand family is important, but a simple call or even a text confirming he was aware of the situation and would help remedy it as soon as possible would have been sufficient. At the end of the day it was my trust in bringing my vehicle to his car wash, but I left feeling completely ignored until I finally got a hold of him. Right before he hung up on me he said he would call me Monday. Right after this as well stated, "Your business does not come first" followed by and immediate hang up.
Never have I been hung up on by anyone that I had absolutely no fault in.
Apparently this business has absolutely no integrity, simply they want your money, and if something goes wrong you're most likely going to be out of luck and ignored.
If I happen to receive a call back on Monday as stated, I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have a fairly new car with less than 3000 miles on it, most of that was a cross country trip early November after I bought it. I plan on visiting relatives so I decided to get it washed and vacuumed at Vision Car Wash, 3101 Juan Tabo, NW corner of Juan Tabo and Candelaria.
Since I still have the tempory paper plate, I took that off (I had to put on a extension anyway as the dealer has not completed the paper work yet) before getting it washed. There are two rubber bumpers that the license plate rests on. The hand towel dryers knocked one of those out of its hole. I know it was there before taking it down. I went back and found it right where the hand towel dryers do their thing.
I also found they did not vacuum or wipe out the cup holders.
But my big beef is when I got in the car to drive away the screen says "Navigation system not working". Now I didn't think under this situation I should just leave. I called one woman over and she played with the system (note I am pretty tech literate, but let her play). She then called another guy over and he played with the system too. I then ask to talk to a manager. I requested something in writing that my car was just washed and afterwords the Nav system was not working. Mainly to go to dealer to discuss this problem with the dealer and/or manufacturer, that the car couldn't survive a car wash. I wanted some sort of documentation from the car wash, but I don't think I could blame them, as I had no documentation the Nav system was working before the car wash. I ended up talking to the owner who doubled down that there was no proof the Nav system was working before the wash. I asked, am I to demonstrate that everything on the car works before each car wash? I said its a brand new car with less than 3000 miles on it, current model year, if the Nav system was not working, wouldn't I just take it to the dealer, as its obviously under warrantee, instead of trying to frame a car wash business? But he wanted to take absolutely no responsibility.
This ended by the owner telling never to return. I then told him I don't think understands the power of social media. So that's my story.
added after I recieved owner's response: I don't know why on my end the owner's response is not showing here. But I did get a response via e-mail, and clicking on the button that says "see full reply' does show the owner's response. First I do have proof the Nav system was working as I took a photo of something while stopped at an intersection on the way down to the car wash that shows the Nav system working in the bottom of the photo, dated/timed ~ 10 minutes before my car wash. But the owner's reponse I feel just makes matters worse for him. 1) I did let him talk, 2) he did tell me to never return. I think he is in complete denial. I hope the readers can make up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm very disappointed in the need to write a review like this.... I have been using Vision since before it was Vision. I have raved about their work FOR YEARS! Unfortunately, I can no longer speak highly of them.
I have had 2 cars at their car wash this week to be washed. Took 1 in on Monday, and it was still dirty in a lot of spots when I got home. Was told to bring it back on Wednesday to be washed again for free. They got it right on Wednesday.
Thursday (today), I had another car needing a bath desperately. I was out doing errands and decided to stop in since it wasn't too busy. I stood outside watching them. When they were done, I walked around the car to check their work before I left. Both rims on the passenger side (which I couldn't see from where I was standing) had been lightly sprayed with something, but not wiped at all. I asked them to please clean my rims. A younger man walked away without saying a word, but grabbed a towel to wipe the passenger side rims. A young lady with a pink shirt and long blondish hair wiped the driver's side rims. I watched the young lady wipe down the driver's side and then I walked around to check again. The passenger side was STILL dirty. So, I asked him again to wipe the rims. I stood there watching, but when he stood up and the sun hit my rims.... still lots of dirt. So, I physically pointed out the dirt to the young man. He kind of grunted lightly and did it yet again.
Unfortunately, when he stood up, and I STILL saw dirt, I just gave up. I took a picture of the dirty rim he had just wiped and got in my car. But wait, it's still not over. As I got in my car, closed my door, and looked up, I had to get back out of my car and remove 1 of their towels from my hood. Needless to say, I was livid at this point. I just left. When I got home and inspected my car further, I found dirt and water stains all over the place.
I did call the manager on duty. But, I was mad when I called and can not remember his name. He was nice and wanted me to come back in. But I was too upset. So, not a good idea. I won't be using Vision Car Wash any time soon, if ever. 1 car was a mistake. 2 was very poor work quality. Unfortunately, Vision has lost 5 vehicles that used to get washed there often (sometimes more than once a month). If I ever go back, I hope they can figure out how to give better quality service. They raised the price of car washes and the...
