TL;DR at bottom.
Even though I have only been to about 4 Twisters locations, I can confidently assert that this is the worst one in Albuquerque. Until recently I had frequented this location due to its proximity to my house. However, it seemed every time I went my order was wrong somehow. I had made up my mind not to go back, but today after a long day at work I wanted to pick something up easy on my way home. I (wrongly) assumed that if Ispecified my order carefully there wouldn't be any issues. I gave my order at the drive through 2 ala carte breakfast burritos with bacon and green chile and no beans (the ala carte burritos don't come with beans but I wanted to cover all my bases. The order taker confirmed my order and that there would be no beans. Since I had my verification, I didn't check the order and just went home. As you've guessed upon my arrival home I open my burritos up and to my dismay beans were literally dripping out of them. I call the store and speak to an employee who tells me he will personally remake them so they will be ready when I arrive. Before I hang up he confirms: "Bacon and green chile?" I said yes and that I will be there shortly and hang up. When I arrive they are ready and waiting. I traded bags with a man I am assuming to be the manager based on his dress. I walk out to the car and get this nagging feeling to check the order. I open it up and this time there is no chile or beans. Shaking my head, I walk back inside and complain to the manager about the lack of green chile to which he says, "There is green chile. Did you want a side?" I don't answer and just open up a burrito he looks down and notices the clear lack of chile and I say, "Exactly, and the other is just as dry." He sighs and collects my remade order and passes it through the window to the kitchen. He put on gloves, without washing his hands, and disappeared to the kitchen. I see my order removed from the window while I can only assume he added chile to my two burritos, one of which he had just seen me touch with my bare hands. After a minute or two, he walked back up to the register and dropped the bag in front of me. Wordlessly, I take the bag and leave. One last time I checked it for accuracy and head home where I ate my, now lukewarm, burritos.
TL;DR Avoid at all costs. They will mess up your order and the manager will give you...
Read moreThe girl at the window who took our order was rude and didnt even know what the items on the menu were. When I asked about the "make it a family night deal" she responded with "honestly I dont even know what that is so......". When I got to the window to pay she was again short and rude even rolling her eyes. (She was wearing her face mask below her nose, had her eye brows painted on and nasty tattoos on the back of her hands and she kept pulling out her cell phone to text.) Finally the manager on duty took over the rest of my transaction and he was at least professional and helpful. The third girl who gave me my food was very polite and obviously knew what she was doing (she had short cut red hair, and wore glasses) she even apologized for the other girl being so rude and for us also not getting our drinks. If she had been the one who originally helped me this experience could have been much different. Customer service means a variety of things (I know having been in customer service over 15 years) it also means that your attitude and approach as a employee determines if your customers return or if you receive positive...

I have been coming here on and off for years and the same problems persist, clearly the store manager does not know how to train employees properly and the district manager needs to get involved.
I ordered 3 burritos all with simple modifications. I had to repeat myself about a dozen times and the girl at the drive through was mumbling and rude.
For $25:
Add beans to one, get charged for beans, no beans. Add bell peppers and onions to another, get charged for them, only a tiny sprinkle of onion and no bell peppers. Ask for extra sausage on the last burrito I cut it in half and the first half I picked up didn’t have a single piece of sausage. So instead of extra sausage they just put all of the sausage on one half.
On top of that the food is ALWAYS cold and needs to be heated in the microwave when I get home and the potatoes are often hard as croutons.
They have given me free food in the past when I have complained but the free food is always made with the same level of care… which is none.
I need to stop going back thinking they have fixed...
