Albertsons Market — Local services in Albuquerque

I had to go to this Albertsons after my regular Albertsons didn't have the Sunvan tickets I normally but. While the store was pleasant, it was really difficult to find guest services. Not only that but there was an extremely long wait. Extremely annoying, especially because one customer was buying regular merchandise... When I peeked at the lines for checkout they weren't busy, in fact one was completely empty but the checker was nowhere to be seen. Another guest was checking their credit cards which took forever because she seemed to have a million of them to check the balances on, but why??? Why??? Everyone else was buying lotto tickets and it seemed like they were all trying to buy different kinds, but she couldn't give them the tickets they wanted because of her machine or because of the lottery or whatever. And the checkout teller had to do this with... Every. Single. Customer. Every single customer who was buying lottery tickets she had to do this with for some bizarre reason the checkout woman needed to run the lottery machine several times, tell the customer who was waiting in front of me 'no, I'm sorry, it didn't go through', and then finally they would decide on something else they wanted. I'd been shopping the entire afternoon, I'm disabled and I shouldn't have had to have waited over fifteen minutes to get my Sunvan tickets. I shouldn't be on my feet for fifteen minutes, every minute felt like standing on daggers. What should have been a quick in and out visit was just a complete and utter nightmare. I'm not sure why there wasn't a second person helping with guest services, but it was a really awful experience. I wouldn't return here unless I absolutely...

Completely embarrassed and Falsely accused!! Today i visited the Albertsons down the street from my home,  well because this Albertsons has been my goto location for years now. Walking in I grabbed a cart that had yet to be cleaned and sanitized, i was immediately approached by an employee who offered to sanitize it for me but i stated that it was not necessary because i had my bottle of sanitizer with me, i then wiped it down and thanked the worked for the offer. I proceeded through the store at one point visiting the restroom. the restroom was unusable at the least... After exiting I stated to another worker the condition of the women's restroom and expressed empathy for the worker having to clean up after a customer leaving it in that type of condition. to which she replied, and i quote, "I don't appreciate you stealing our hand sanitizer"  i was completely befuddled! So I then asked to speak with a manager. While speaking with the manager he was just completely uninvolved and uninterested in the complaint. Before exiting the store crying and embarrassed I talked to the worker that seen me sanitize my own basket with the sanitizer I brought in with me. So she then went with me and told another manager that i did in fact bring it in with me and she then stated "well i don't know how when this is is only given to the store for employee use only"  still in conclusion that i stole the sanitizer. With no interest in checking surveillance footage or what the other employee was telling her. I left crying without my thanksgiving feast and without my hand sanitizer :( I am so heartbroken at the way I was accused and called a liar. I Will never be returning to a...

I’ve been a loyal customer of this Albertsons for years, and it’s always been a convenient and pleasant place to shop—until recently. Unfortunately, I, along with many friends and family members, have stopped shopping at this location due to ongoing safety concerns in the parking lot. There’s a noticeable presence of homeless individuals who frequently wander the parking lot, particularly around the handicap parking section. It feels like they target shoppers, especially those who may be more vulnerable, as they head to their cars. This has made the shopping experience feel unsafe and uncomfortable for many of us. The situation is compounded by a small homeless encampment near the new gas station adjacent to the store, which seems to contribute to the issue. It’s disappointing because this Albertsons has great products, friendly staff, and a convenient location, but the lack of consistent security is a dealbreaker. I strongly urge the management to invest in full-time security to address these concerns and ensure a safe environment for all customers. If they can resolve this issue, I’d love to return and continue shopping here, as would many others I know. Until then, we’ll be taking our...
