Food City — Local services in Aldine

I am a wheelchair bound lady with a service dog I have been going to this store for a long time with my service dog. I went in last week with my service dog and the security guard service dogs are not allowed and they have a sign out front saying that and I need a vest for my dog. And then ask him if I could speak to the manager, the manager told me the same thing and told me he need to see my certificate. I informed them that Texas law states that they are only allowed to ask if my dog was a service dog and what service it does. Texas law state that you do not have to have a certificate or vest for a service dog in Texas. It was an embarrassing situation for me and it also let me know that food city does not train their managers. I drove from another city to come to this store and I was refused entrance all because their manager does not know Texas law. This store will be reported. Veterans and disabled people if you have a service dog do not go to Food City on Aldine Mail Route because they have a sign outside says no dogs allowed and they refuse to let you in if you have a service dog. If you are denied entrance into this store with your service dog please call get a police report, file a claim with Department of Justice, America Disability Act, and file a civil lawsuit. I tried to tell manager it was illegal and I also Google it on my phone to show them. They must...

My Favorite place to shop for my groceries have better prices than most grocery stores.... and the manager is just the sweetest, nicest, And 😍 Gorgeous 😍 person in for this job I believe she is the black woman with the short hair. SHE IS THE GREATEST she always interacts with me, she help me find an open register everytime she notice me ready to check out and she pays attention to all the employees and is not afraid to speak her mind... but because of her kindness I will come here to Food City before I go anywhere else. . And I love how they are remodeling the store and it is always smelling clean love the music when I'm shopping. I give it 5🌟 but really should be 10 star ✨️ ... An awesome Manager with a good heart ❤️ That rubs off on the employees cause they all have smiles and speak to you whether it's hello, hi , or Hola they all deserve a raise. Oh 1 last thing the lady that out the meat out and she does a great job. She always offers to stop working so I can shop and she tells me take my time unlike, other places.. that just keep standing there working blocking the meat... she is the neatest meat stocker and it's always fresh meat there... mmmm...

skateboard around there, but decent store if they would hire me bruh - (Update) used to work there but besides the fun memories i had with the coworkers im currently making more money at my current job! been there for a 1yr and no raise was the downfall for my love there. and i have to say.. i never been happier whenever i left. I will forever thank ms chavion for sticking around when i needed her the most through tough times working there. Thank you again ms chavion. Always go to her shes the mother of that place. will forever dislike that manager (hugo) he's oddly fake. lil tip : if u wanna work there. Don't "never" show your emotions there. They won't care for u in the end....
