Went to ask about their cake designs and prices since I needed to order for two big events. The girl who tried to help me didn’t know where to grab their book with pictures (that all bakeries have as a standard) and she ask another woman behind the counter who was on the phone. This woman just kept pointing at a Screen on the wall with a slide show of some cake pictures. I too asked her for their book since I needed to see specific samples and she told me there was no book and that’s all they have with such a nasty attitude. I don’t have the time to wait for the screen to display ALL the pictures and see IF I can find the ones needed and told her again that I need their book instead, but she practically told me take it or leave it (mind you, I was pointing at a cake pictures-book just behind her while talking). The service is okay. The atmosphere is okay. However, ever since the name changed of the bakery, the bread has a taste of the cleaning solution, Fabuloso. The bolillos are chewy and not crisp like the previous ones. (It is Estrella bakery on the bags, they have not updated the name here) I noticed the bakers pulling out trays, taking them to the back to the warmer and bringing the same tray with the same bread to the front and calling out, "pan calientito, pan fresco" And the little cupboard doors have a huge gap for critters ot flies to get to...

New owners ruined this bakery. They took away the labels that stated the prices and names of the pastries, not to mention the quality of the bread has gone down while the price has increased. The whole place feels depressing and empty, where are the display cakes that used to be plastered around the store? I tried to buy a product that was in the freezer and it had to be taken away because apparently they were supposed to be disposed and they just never got around to doing that, plus the kolache I got was not...
