The service is great, definitely a group of people who want to get off on the right foot in this area. The food is amazing! I'm a regular at Omar's and I gotta say.. this place gives Omar's a run for it's money! This place uses a much different spice blend so you won't feel like you are replacing Omar's, but I'm gonna have to be a regular here as well. Potomac Yard is suddenly the place to be for lamb and rice, don't sleep on either of these spots. Omar's... Flavor Hive... Take my money!!

Im a regular at Omar’s just a block away, but wanted to give this a shot since I live in the neighborhood. I got a chicken rice bowl and it was pretty good. I would happily eat it again but can’t see myself going out of the way. Though betraying Omar’s was never an option, Omar’s jerk chicken solidly beat out hives, the amount of veggies in my bowl today was also quite little. I felt like I had a very heavy rice and meat bowl, but the quantity. Personally I prefer some aspects of my meal to feel lighter and fresher, and didn’t feel like this bowl met that need like...

Flavor Hive is hands down one of the most fun and flavorful food experiences in the area. I brought my own bag of chips, and they packed it with juicy halal gyro, seasoned rice, fries, veggies, and spicy truffle sauce. It was absolutely delicious and super filling. The portions are massive. What really made the visit even better was Amine, he was incredibly welcoming, kept the energy high, and made sure everyone was taken care of, even during the rush.
