This location is absolutely “RACIST” I cannot count the amount of time I have visited this location and 100% of the staff members are “HISPANIC”. This neighborhood is certainly a very diversified area and I personally believe there should be representation of other ethnicity to balance the service and make sure ppl are being treated fair and well. I came today this particular location and the first “SERVER” that served me had an attitude for no reason, then one of her Hispanic colleagues came and she said something to her in Spanish which I did not understand and the other colleague made up her face. So moving on to get the other things I desired I ignored that first interaction and then when I got to the cashier she took my payment “CLARISSA ORDER number # 249 at 2:06pm and at the end of the completing the ORDER she dropped the order instead of handing it off to me, I almost had a interaction with her to say why do you guys treat us this way ? I was literally 24inches away why could you not give me the food? Instead you threw it on the dirty counter and was nasty for no reason. But instead I asked for the MANAGER and they said Acner Castillo is the MANAGER, but I said who is on duty? She said there is 3 managers and I said can speak to one of them ? She called Ashley Logos and I asked for the cashiers information which she refused to give me. So afterwards I said I will call the corporate office and I left. I am so tired of going to this location always respectful and polite and the “HISPANIC” staffing being rude for no reason. This matter is DISCRIMINATION at its finest and being someone that works for a LEADING corporate firm in the consumer business industry this can be very cancerous for “CHIPOTLE” business in the VIRGINIA area if it is not addressed. I am no longer visiting “CHIPOTLE” they have lost a customer today and whoever is the REGIONAL MANAGER for hiring in VIRGINIA area needs to really review why is the entire staff “HISPANIC” in these areas there must to representation to make sure that clients are being...
Read more(Sunday 6/9) I placed an online order. When I walked in to pick up the order there were three people at work: one prepping in store orders, one prepping online orders, one cleaning. No one acknowledged my presence even after looking in my face. Finally someone came to man the register. I told her I was there for a pick up order. She told me stand to the side. She didn’t ask my name or check to see if my order was ready. Then she started to ring up the next person. I stood there for another five minutes waiting to be acknowledged. I said something and she pointed at an employee that had just come out of the kitchen. She finally asked my name and said my order was being prepared, which was odd considering it was 10 minutes after the app said it would be ready. She then started to arrange the to go orders that were on the counter, turning them so that I could see the names. My order had been there the entire time. If the young lady at the register had just taken the time to ask my name and check the orders behind her opposed to telling me to stand aside, I’d have had my order 5 minutes earlier. She needs training. Also, while I was there a woman walked in with an order she’d previously picked up. She stoped the young woman who had made her order and complained that the chicken was cold. The young woman said “it’s not my fault”. Woman: “I’m not blaming you but I want to know if we can correct this”. Looking perplexed, the young girl woman looked at the other one at the register and said “I don’t know what to do”. How about remaking her order???? It never occurred to them that doing so could solve the problem. Note that most of this staff was very young, teens or 20s. Management, please get this team...
Read moreI don't typically complain about places just for the sake of it, but my experience today was frustrating enough to bring it up. I visited with a friend, and we both ordered the same meal—a chicken quesadilla with sides. Not only is the food already overpriced, but the portioning was beyond disappointing. My friend got her order first and everything was fine with hers, but when I received mine, the chicken was missing from the quesadilla. The moment I sat down to eat, I noticed that most of the chicken was just scattered on the tray, not inside the quesadilla like it should’ve been. It seemed like the quesadilla had just been quickly reheated.I went to let the manager know and showed her and instead of offering a solution or understanding, she immediately got defensive. She claimed, “All quesadillas get cut in half, so the chicken always falls out.” There are witnesses that can testify to those exact words being the first thing she said. I pointed out that my friend’s order didn’t have that issue, but she just turned away from me and instructed them to remake mine. Having worked in food service myself, I understand things happen, but I always try to handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism. The manager’s attitude was rude and dismissive, and I feel that how she represents this company could definitely be improved. Not only was my experience disappointing, but her behavior really gave a bad impression of...
