Shoe Dept. Encore — Local services in Alexandria

We were at the Encore shoe store at the Alexandria Mall in Alexandria looking for shoes for my husband who had ankle surgery and was wearing an ankle brace. We are both in our seventies and my husband is pretty frail with his balance, so he was in a wheelchair. As we walked in the door, Kim greeted us immediately and came over to assist us. The brace was bulky and none of his shoes at home fit. She found the exact shoe my husband needed to fit his swollen foot that had the ankle brace on it, and she helped with the brace and helped get the shoe on his foot, she was being so careful abd gentle as to not hurt him. Kim was so caring and efficient at her job. We were very impressed by Kim's professionalism and willingness to make sure we were well taken care of. Thank you Kim! You were and are amazing!!! Kim gets a five plus star rating!...

Was able to buy 2 pair of shoes for just under $75.00. Was disappointed about them not having shoes in stock, or they said they don’t carry anymore, their online site said they had them in stock in the store, when I asked them when I had driven over an hour to get there the clerk said no they don’t carry those. Wasn’t too happy about that, that is false...
