After moving to Algoma I was not going to drive over an hour to the place I used to get my hair done. I have very fine/thin hair and am always nervous finding a place that knows how to work with it as I've had more than one horrible cut! Was a little leery to try Classic Waves since it's in such a small city I wasn't sure they'd know how to handle my hair and figured the prices would be insane. I'm so glad I gave them a try! I LOVE Rebecca and she does so wonderful for my hair! Both Rebecca and Jane are such wonderful dear people and do such a great job! I even started bringing my curly headed girls there. The prices are less than what I used to pay at my old place and I'm way happier with the service and the whole shebang! When having hair done I rarely left tips because the prices were always so high already! Here I always tip because it's just so great and definitely worth it! My wife and I had a trip planned for our two-year anniversary, we wanted to stop by Classic Waves to get a cut and styling to start our day off. We couldn't have asked for a better start to our planned day trip to door county. Rebecca was our stylist, and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She took her time with both of us, gave us great cuts and styling, and her warm personality made the experience truly memorable.

The atmosphere of the salon was inviting and relaxing, and it really set the tone for the remainder of our day trip. It's rare to find a place where you walk out not only looking your best but also feeling like you've just made a wonderful memory.
