Judd's Antique Mall — Local services in Algood

I recently read the reviews that were given by a couple of customers over the past year. I personally believe them to be unfair and unjust. I would hate to think that a couple of bad reviews by people that may have been having a bad day. This can hurt a small local business. If you have problems with any store, I think you should take it up with the owner personally before posting a harmfulI review online. I have never been followed or watched by the owner or any other employee at this store. They have never made me feel uncomfortable in the store at anytime. I discovered this store when I moved to the Cookeville / Algood area. I met the owner that day and she was extremely nice and welcoming to me when I stopped by the first week I was here. I found the shop very charming. Every time I go there I seem to find something that I like. They have a wide variety of antiques and collectibles. The store has many vendors that have set up booths for you to look at. The prices of the items in the store are inline with other antique stores. It's a nice place to shop and I highly recommend it. Very poor way over priced on thrift store quality items and the 2 old men that work there are very rude. They follow you around they hound you when you attempt to look at a item by standing over your shoulder. Then when you leave a certain booth they walk in behind you like they are looking for something missing they treat you very poor and act like they are better then you. I wish I could give this dump a negative 5 Star absolutely the worst antique store in Tennessee. I have seven antique booths in Manchester and we treat everyone that comes in like royalty and let them shop in peace. Don’t go here you find better quality at goodwill actually it looks like the buy from yard sales and thrift stores I found a item that still had a 99 cent good will sticker that they were asking $400 dollars they are crazy. I went to this store for the first time and purchased a cabinet. The cabinet was $100 and I paid for it the total was $108.65. The lady named Patt the owner of the store said we will give you a discount which was great. She then told her husband to credit it back a start over and the total was $92.35 they never gave me a credit for $108.65. I have copied everything from the bank and was told they are not going to do anything and was told if I come back they would have me arrested. Stay clear of this store you will get ripped off by this man and woman. I have turned it into the BBB and started and going to take the to small clams court.
