Mark, and to executive management, and leadership of SuperCuts (Alhambra, CA),
I want to take a moment to respectfully address something thatâs been bothering me for quite some time as a loyal Supercuts customer since the late 80âs (back when Jason-Hairstylistâused to have long hair like a Metallica band member!) Iâm talking about the constant interruptions that happen in the middle of a haircut when the stylist has to stop what theyâre doingâsometimes three or four timesâto answer the ringing phone. Honestly, itâs frustrating, distracting, and completely unprofessional.
Think about it: when you sit down for whatâs supposed to be a quick 10-to-15-minute haircut, you expect the experience to be focused, efficient, and relaxingânot broken up by a ringing phone every few minutes. Itâs not just about convenience; itâs about professionalism and respect for the customerâs time. We live in the 21st centuryâa time when artificial intelligence like ChatGPT can handle complex scheduling and customer interaction tasks. Youâd think a major brand like Supercuts wouldâve figured out a system by now to keep stylists from juggling clippers and phone calls at the same time.
Mark, as the owner, Iâm asking you directly: please find a better solution. This is not an isolated incident; itâs an ongoing, everyday issue. And I guarantee Iâm not the only customer who feels this way. Itâs a bad look for the business and, quite frankly, unfair to your hardworking stylists who are trying to provide great service while being constantly pulled away.
To be fair, kudos to Supercuts for rolling out the appâthatâs a solid step in the right direction. But itâs not enough when the landline phones are still ringing off the hook and cutting into the customer experience. I canât tell you how many times Iâve had to penalize my hairstylist by withholding a tipânot because I wanted to, but because I firmly believe in not rewarding poor service, even if itâs not entirely their fault.
This shouldnât be happening in 2025. Please make this a better experience not just for me, but for all customers and your stylists as well. They deserve to focus on their craft without being distracted, and customers deserve an uninterrupted experience. Itâs time to implement a smarter systemâone that respects both the professional and the...
Read moreI previously wrote a distasteful review about this place but Fortunately, I have rescinded my original comments on the experience itself because my hair has been growing out so well. Considering I originally came to this place looking for a hairstylist under the name of Ana as was recommended by my mother and aunt. What Iâve really been on the hunt for is someone who has the hands of gold. Unfortunately when I arrived this was not the same Ana that my family recommended but I decided to give this lady a try anyway. Well, let me tell you at first I was being emotionally driven and to be honest quite shocked by the amount of hair that was cut; I had originally intended to cut only the tips. However, I did let Ana know that if she can cut out all my dead ends so I think thatâs where I should have been more specific. Moreover, at first I was upset and crying about how short my hair was. On the other hand, itâs now been exactly two weeks later and I couldnât be any happier with how itâs looking and growing in. Aside from Ana being the sweetest lady and making my experience a pleasant one, she truly had hands of gold. Additionally, she shared kind words and stories with me that made the first time feel very comfortable and not awkward whatsoever. With all due respect I apologize for my first review which has since been deleted. 10/10 I will definitely be back for my next cut. I believe I just found my new best hairstylist....
Read moreThat man does NOT know how to cut hair. I asked for my undercut to be evened out and cleaned up. His solution was to shave my head down to the skin! Now the lower half of my skull is exposed, and I have a harsh, straight line of demarcation instead of the gradually blended fade with a round feminine hairline that I asked for. I LOOK LIKE A MUSHROOM. I'm going to hide until this disaster grows out. I asked him to snip a few pieces that were longer than the rest, but he refused. He started thinning my few remaining hairs for some reason! No discussion at all, just hacking away until I was practically bald. Now, instead of an uneven haircut, I have almost no hair left on my head! I can't bear to see my reflection. The shampoo was so rough that it practically gave me a concussion. I said there's still shampoo in my hair, showing the suds on my hand. He said no that's conditioner... Shouldn't that be...
