Norman's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Allentown

As a young white well dressed female i am appalled by the experience recently had at this retailer. The store was empty. I was on the phone with my mom before going to the grocery store. My best friends birthday is coming up. I saw the store previously and thought it was cute. Great for birthdays and holiday gifts. While in the store I looked around discussing all thats new with my mother. I found something that I thought my best friend would enjoy. While checking sizes the old man working there made some snide critiquing remark I didn't fully hear but it was negative. Maybe cause my mom and the item had my attention not him and the old Karen like manager. They stalked me very closely through the store. As if I was there to steal and not shopping for a special occasion. When I was ready to check out I told my mom hey im getting stalked through this store I should go. So I went to purchase the top and addressed how rude and ridiculous they were following me like predators while I was enjoying shopping. She took the top said i was being rude and to leave and threatened to call the police for confronting her cruelty. I will never again think of my loved ones and consider shopping there. Please find better staff that does their jobs instead of harassing youthful customers...

Sadly I came in for a thank you card. I asked the clerk where to find them and she walked over and pointed which was helpful. She could see i was handicapped but immediately went back to the counter to work on paperwork. After i got my card, I walked up to the counter where she was and asked if she could ring me up. After a few moments of her working on paperwork, She said i had to go to the opposite side of the counter to check out. She could see how hard it was for me to walk with my husband holding me up on one side and my cane supporting me on the other side. As i finished I saw another worker not doing anything particular but watching me struggle. The store is far from handicap friendly. As well, the aisles are filled with merchandise which makes it hard to get around. Next time I will make a card like a child. Hallmark makes movies brimming with kindness but none to be found...

If you have any self dignity and respect, do not shop at the store! Not only is the staff racist and rude they are ignorant as well. Recently needed to make a return at the store and the manager Christine reacted in a way I never expected A store manager, or any store staff to behave. She referred to me as “you people” for insisting that she returns a gift box that was ripped. While in the store, and after long back and forth over the return , she agreed to return the gift but not without insulting me, and asking me to leave the store and asked me to never return again, as if she were the owner . She embarrassed me and yelled at me as if I was her child in the middle of the store. I will never ever return to such trashy establishment. I will also be sure to tell all my family and friends nit to shop there & Fund these ignorant...
