Harbor Freight — Local services in Alpena Township

Went there with an authentic coupon for 150 off of a 599 dollar item. This was printed directly from the harbor freight web site. They would not honor the coupon after I drove 35 miles for this item. I called the corporate and they verified that it was a mistake on their end. I think this coupon should have been honored. The manager could have done something. Instead he told me I got the coupon from a clone web site.... Ha ha.....I have spent a lot of money at harbor freight, now I am all done with...

I was in this location today for the first time. I was promptly greeted upon entering and started my search for the pickup/reach tool. In my hesitation, employee “Greg” asked if I needed any help and told me exactly where they were located. I enjoy when I don’t have to hunt down an employee for help and they know exactly where everything is located!! Another employee also asked if we needed help too, which is awesome! I highly recommend this location and will return!...

I was sorta browsing hitches when a skinny, bearded worker happened to pass by, so I asked him if he knew much about trailers, which he did. I did not. He asked me what kind of trailer, how many axels, how tall the wheels were, where the tongue rested at level... whole bunch of stuff. Then, he suggested a hitch and ball, which turned out to be perfect for my trailer! Wish I got his name so he'd get some recognition, but shucks. A thank you will have to do....
