Emily is a LIFESAVER! We literally coasted into the parking lot having lost all power in our car. Emily quickly diagnosed the issue was our alternator. As this was 12:30pm on a Saturday afternoon - and we were supposed to head back home on Monday morning, we weren't sure when/how the car would get fixed. Emily to the rescue! She called Bob of Bob's Muffler & Auto Repair, told him our predicament and he offered to fix it for us the next day (Sunday) so we could head home as scheduled. Finally, Emily recommended a local tow company to help us get the car over to Bob's. Emily is very knowledgeable, has exceptional customer service skills, and goes above and beyond. She put our minds at ease during a stressful situation and we are incredibly grateful for all she did for us. We have had nothing but positive experiences at AutoZone through the years, but our experience in Alpena tops them all....
Read moreI needed to have the odb scanned on my car. The guy doing it blocked me from seeing what was going on and, wouldn't let me see the readout on the screen in the store. What he told me was it was "turbo underboost" but didn't let me know the exact code. All he said was to take it to a dealer to have it serviced.
There is one specific code that would tell me it's the turbo itself and would need replacing which, I would have purchased while I was there. Unfortunately, this guy either didn't know what he was doing or, didn't want my business...either way, not good autozone...you can do better!
I ordered an odb scanner from another place so I can do this in my own.
