Marshalls — Local services in Alpena Township

Went their in August to get kids school backpacks & lunch boxes but ended up with a few halloween items etc... Long story short I had about 10 big items that I wasn't planning for so when I got to the checkout I had to split my pymt. Half on a card, half in cash and out of that, half of my cash was literal $1 bills. The cashier was very rude about me giving her $28 in one dollar bills and then having to use my c.c also.. I apologized b/c I knew it was inconvenient and unusual but this girl wouldn't say a word! No greeting, no acknowledgement, her face was frozen in this "i hate my job" look. She basically threw my receipt at me and was unable to speak a single syllable. I've seen better personality out of a 2x4! She really made me feel worse that I already did and shouldn't be working directly with the public with that type of attitude. I will not...

Another “warehouse store for Alpena, Michigan. Sad. This store is identical to the “People’s” Store that was located on South U.S. 23. It closed pretty quickly. It was a ware house store too. Clothes crammed into clothes racks, bottles of lotions, products in complete disarray on shelves. It totally looks like they gathered items from other stores they couldn’t sell. Sad.
