The flooring install was quick and the installer was nice. However the one flooring product in the kitchen was very sticky. I called and complained and I was told to clean it with vinegar which did not work I cleaned to flooring on my hands and knees multiple times and it was still sticky. Then I called back again and the had me drive up to Alpena (I live in Oscoda). To pick up a cleaning product. I cleaning the flooring again multiple times on my hands and knees and the issue was not resolved. I called back again and requested someone come look at the flooring. I felt like the representative didn't believe it was sticky even though you could hear his shoes sticking to the flooring. Then the recommended another product wanted me to drive back up to Alpena to get it. I told them to mail it, they ended up dropping it off. The contractor didn't tell me he had been paid and then charged me for the same job. When I showed Stansons evidence of the double billing they took me (their customer!) to court and demanded I pay a second time. e.g. $210 job (charged by the hour by the contractor) + $930 (what Stansons paid the contractor for the same job charged "by the job") = $1,140 Stansons sued me to pay for a $210 job.
