Super rude, and unfriendly staff. I took about 500 dollars worth of clothes brand name with tags to sell at Kids for Kids. When I first walked in, the staff were unwelcoming, and rude when I was asking questions since it was my first time selling. I asked the lady how long it would take, and she told me about 30 min. I asked if I could wait in my car, and she told me yes. About 40 minutes later, I get a call saying my clothes are ready. I tell them okay I am coming in. 2 minutes later I get another call saying my clothes are ready, I said yes I know mam I am coming in. One minute later, the same lady calls me with a rude tone saying if I left the property, and she has other orders to do. I explained to her I am coming in please give me a second. When I get in, they returned the clothes they did not want, and kept the ones they did. I asked them where are the other clothes, and they told me we can offer you just $45 for these clothes. This was almost all the clothes I gave them brand new, so I declined the offer. The lady then said you cannot get your clothes back whether you like the offer or not. That was absurd, and I started to question why I cannot get my clothes back. She said because I left the store and sat in my car, I am not allowed to get my clothes back. I have never heard of a place that does that. The employees started to say rude comments, and lie saying I did not pick up the phone, and it took me 15 minutes to come to the store after they called (which was very untrue). The lady then ripped up my receipt, told me to leave, and pushed the basket out of my hand. They were so mean, and unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I advise any other customers to go to a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am disappointed with the Kids To Kids Alpharetta location for failing to clearly communicate policy changes at the time of drop-off. I have been a loyal customer for the past three years and have always had positive experiences until recently. I recently dropped off 11 pairs of shoes for appraisal and was not verbally informed at the time of drop-off that items would be donated if not picked up within three days. As I am in the area every Sunday for my hair clients at my salon suite, I returned within exactly 7 business days to collect my credit.
To my dismay, I found that I received only $6 in credit and that all my shoes had been donated without any prior notificationāno call, no text, no email. While Caitlyn was professional when I picked up my credit, the lack of clarity at the time of drop-off was disheartening.
Although I understand that the policy about donating items is written in the agreement, I was under the impression that it had not changed, and I was not made aware of any recent updates at the time of drop-off. This was the first time I left my items without waiting for an evaluation, and I now realize that this is not advisable.
I advise other customers to avoid leaving their items without waiting for an evaluation to ensure they fully understand the process. Given that I regularly receive marketing communications from your store, it would be beneficial to extend this level of communication to include important updates about item evaluations and donations.
I would appreciate a call from management to discuss this matter further and to explore ways to improve communication...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was hands down the worst customer service experience we've ever had. Being new to the area we've been searching for a place to unload 2 bins of gently used and completely new clothing our children have outgrown. We were so pleased to find this location so near but all that changed upon our first, and last, visit to this store. Three adults working yet no one had the common courtesy, professional etiquette or decency to greet us. A large family of 5. With clothes in hand we watched as patron after patron entered only recognized at checkout and never a thank you. Funny thing is while asking my mother why some items were tagged yet no discount applied the older employee responded to me "for inventory." Wait, does this mean you can actually see us. Not a good sign. It was truly appalling. To the point when my mother completed her transaction, I promptly returned my items to the racks in disgust, Low and behold, the employee never uttered a word of thanks after handing her the bag. I could not keep quiet. I complimented the store and asked for he manager and she barely responded,"she's not here." I told her that while the store was nice the fact that I sat and watched no less than 7 people enter and leave without acknowledgement, being asked if they needed help or thanked for their purchases that I was less than reluctant to ever spend money or sell clothes here. We will gladly drive to another location a bit further in Alpharetta to sell our items and prayerfully have at least a professionally pleasant experience. Zero stars!!!...
