If you’re craving some tasty Thai food, you’ve got to try 26 Thai Kitchen(Alpharetta). I absolutely love this place! Everything we had was a hit. The Pad Thai Shrimp was super yummy and felt so real-deal. I’d love to have Pad Thai here any day. The Masaman Short Rib was another must-try. The meat was juicy and tender, and the curry was just perfect. Then there’s the Whole Red Snapper (Pla Luy Swan). The fish’s fried crispy on the outside and soft inside, mixed with a fresh Thai herb salad that made it pop. Last, the Bangkok Street Chicken (Gai Yang), it’s the next level, full of flavor, and awesome with the salad and sticky rice. Beyond the food, what truly sets 26 Thai Kitchen apart is the exceptional service. The manager, Addie, is a gem. With decades of restaurant experience, he knows the menu inside-out and offers spot-on recommendations tailored to your tastes. His warmth and genuine care made us feel like old friends, even on our first visit. The ambiance is just as relaxed yet lively, making it an great spot for families, friend gatherings, or even an office team outing. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and I’ll be spreading the word to friends and family. If you’re in the mood for authentic Thai cuisine served with heart, 26 Thai Kitchen is the...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at 26 Thai Kitchen and Bar in Alpharetta. I’ve ordered from this location through delivery multiple times and generally enjoyed it, but my recent dine-in visit was frustrating and unacceptable.
I ordered the drunken noodles, and when the waiter asked if level 2 spice was okay, I said a little spicier would be fine. At no point was it explained that this would result in a Thai hot level of spice. The dish came out so overwhelmingly spicy that it was virtually inedible—even for someone who enjoys and is used to spicy food.
What made the experience worse was the lack of any effort to correct the situation. No replacement dish. No refund. Not even a sincere apology. It felt like my concerns were completely dismissed.
This was extremely disappointing. If you’re looking for better food and customer service, I highly recommend the Dunwoody location at Perimeter Mall instead—they’ve always been consistent and respectful.
I wasn’t upset that the food came out wrong—mistakes happen—but the way the staff handled it showed a complete lack of care for the...
Read moreWe wanted some pad thai and found this place right after we landed in ATL. this place has a really interesting movie theater decor. It was pretty empty when we got there, however it was kinda late. Our server i could tell was new but she was amazing and fun! We ordered the summer rolls, tom kha Gai soup and pad thai medium. My other co worker got some sort of chicken. The summer rolls i didnt care for at all. It didnt have rice stick in it or any shrimp and didnt come with the two main sauces normally served with them. Not to mention the summer roll was basically one roll cut into pieces. Wasnt happy about that all. the soup had really good flavor. The pad thai was made correctly with the tamarind. I had to ask for limes though because they didn't give you any. I will say, they like spice! The medium was pretty darn hot IMO. Overall we had a great time, service was good and food was above average. Definitely would come...
