From the moment I stepped into this refined French café, I felt transported—no passport required. The space is effortlessly elegant, with soft lighting, marble-esque counters, book shelves and the gentle hum of espresso machines underscoring the tranquil atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where time slows, and every detail is designed to delight.

I began with a cappuccino, expertly prepared with velvety microfoam and a rich espresso base. Balanced, and bold, it was a perfect prelude to what followed.

The turkey bacon panini was a revelation in simplicity and flavor—crisply grilled bread giving way to tender turkey, smoky bacon, and a subtle spread that elevated each bite without overpowering. It struck that rare balance between comfort and finesse.

But the true showstopper was the raspberry violet macaron. Visually stunning, its vivid pink shell hinted at something special, and it did not disappoint. The texture—light, crisp, and delicately chewy—was textbook perfection. The flavor pairing of tart raspberry with the soft floral notes of violet was both unexpected and unforgettable, lingering just long enough to make you wish for another.

One of my top favorite places in Alpharetta! Best French bakery around! Service is good, easy parking and convenient location. Everything I’ve ever ordered here - coffee, pasties, lunch- were all excellent! The quiche was perfect! I love giving pasties as gifts for special occasions and just to make a day special! They’re so beautiful and equally tasty. Quality ingredients along with loving care goes into these baked delights! So pretty too! Eating inside for coffee and dessert or lunch, it’s such a refreshing change of scenery and like a sweet retreat.., feels like I could be in Paris for a moment! All the baked goods are so good, I can’t even name a favorite…the coffee drinks are excellent! Over the years of going to Colette, I’ve enjoyed the lattes, regular coffee, which is excellent, quiche dishes, sandwiches, salads, soup, and an untold number of their delicious pastries. The service is always excellent, friendly, and warm. This small café has a very welcoming ambience, delicious food, plenty of free, parking, and easy access from Georgia, 400 and clean restrooms, this is a great place to order special occasion, cakes, or assortment of pastries, and gift items, such as the collection of Macarons. Every year (before Covid) I would order my husband’s favorite cake (Napoleon) and we would visit pretty often. Katherine the previous owner was a gem. We hadn’t gone back since hearing about the bad reviews on the quality of the food and the overprice but wanted to give it a chance. I spoke to Nancy and ordered the cake on Tuesday around lunch time to pick up on Friday afternoon. They asked to pay right away but I was driving and told I would call back. My fault that I called back at 4:30 to give the CC number and they were closed. I called back the following morning and was surprised to find out they cancelled my order and they couldn’t full filled it anymore because they needed 3 full days even though I told Nancy I wasn’t planning to pick it up till Friday late afternoon. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager and the owner’s fiancée. I then asked to speak to the owner (I believe she said his name was Edgar) and she said he was traveling and couldn’t tell me when I would be able to talk to him about my experience with ordering a simple cake. She was extremely rude, started to raise her voice when I asked to speak to him and was just plain ugly and conflictive. I have never experienced this kind of customer service.
