I went today and left the store almost in tears. I had purchased a pair of jeans online in a size 4. When I received the jeans they fit okay but could fit a little better as I had some room in the waist. These were specifically purchased for work so I wanted them to fit nicely and not be too baggy or frumpy looking. I called the altamonte store as it's the closest one to me and asked if I brought the jeans in could I try on a smaller size and either exchange the jeans or keep them if the smaller size was too tight. I love the overall style and fit so if the 2 was too small I would have made the 4s work. When I arrived, a blonde girl was on the register (cashier code EC8160) and she asked if I needed help. She then told me that I was supposed to leave the tags on to return them. I said I wanted to exchange or keep them and that the girl I spoke to on the phone said to just put the tags in the pocket if I had taken them off -no big deal. She said "well she shouldn't have told you that." OK? I reminded her - I wanted to exchange or keep the jeans not return them. She asked me for the receipt and the card I used for the original transaction. I gave her the card and she processed a refund. Even though I have now stated twice that I wanted to exchange or keep them. It didn't click in my brain that she had processed a refund as she told me to go ahead and try on the smaller size and that she would hold the other jeans at the front for me. I tried on the other pair and loved them. The 2s fit great. I brought them back up to her and she stated that I would have to pay for them as she had processed a refund. I asked her how long it would take for the refund to go through and she said "depending on your bank up to 10 business days." Through tears I said "this is why I said multiple times I wanted to exchange them or keep the other ones." I don't have the extra money right now to float $120 ($60 for the original jeans and $60 for the size 2). I left feeling stupid and very frustrated, out $60 for potentially the next 10 days and with no jeans for work. Please just be kind to people and listen to what your customers are asking you. If you couldn't do an exchange she could have just said that and I would have...
Read moreWorst customer service ever! There was a line yesterday afternoon of 5 of us and the two girls in the back, who were not friendly when I had to ask them to let my daughter into the dressing room, just stood there and looked at the line. One of them was showing the other one how to do yoga poses. Then we get the the front finally to check out and I tell the young man, "My daughter does not want these 3 pair of jeans, but wants this 1. I handed him the ones we didn't want first and then the one we did want so we didn't confuse him. No luck there. He started ringing them all up. Why don't these kids care about their jobs? No one seems to care anymore. He may have just been confused, but the two girls standing in the back of the store don't deserve to have jobs. Even if they were not the check out people, they could have gone and got the one who was when they saw the long line, which I finally had...
