I unfortunately had a really poor experience for my second massage (not with Erica, she's no longer with Signature Salon). I waited in the lobby for almost 20 minutes past my appointment (I know because I have time-stamps on text messages I was sending). After I was "retrieved" by my masseuse I waited at least another 5-10 minutes in the room after I was undressed and on the table, so my massage didn't get started until close to 30 minutes after my scheduled start time.

During the massage there was awful music with lyrics/vocalist playing (I believe at one point it was an elevator-version of Jailhouse Rock - not relaxing at all), I was FREEZING the whole time, and not once was I asked about pressure, comfort, or anything along those lines.

My massage finished and the masseuse talked about herself a bit and saw me off to the front desk. At the desk, no one asked me how my services were and it was clear that I was done well before the 60 minutes I had paid for. When I asked about this I was told when my massage started (which wasn't correct) and no one probed any further than that despite it being clear I wasn't happy with my services.

Absolutely amazing! I love Becky and have finally found my new hair stylist here in Iowa. One of the hardest parts about moving from Southern California isn't the blistering cold winter, but finding a great stylist.

I have to start with the fact that I have springy ringlets, but kind of fine hair. Its very unique and hard to find people who know how to fix it. Needless to say I have some serious trust issues with my hair. Normally when I leave a salon I want to cry. If my hair is not dry cut it almost always comes out uneven and the next day is a disaster. I went to Becky to get a color knowing I also wanted to a cut and straightening treatment. She went over the options with me and we decided to do the coldwave treatment first. I was going to do the heat wave treatment, but she said we should try the cold wave and see how it goes. It worked beautifully. My hair is so soft, it still has some waves and curl to it but cut my style time drastically. Becky also did a quick trim on my hair as well. It not only looks great, but it feels amazing. So I’m 51 and male. I chose this Salon because it’s nice and new. I used to go down the street to the Barbershop. But I need a place that is by appointment and Signatures have staff that typically call to remind you of your appointment. The quality of the cut was very good. The atmosphere is very helpful, I didn’t have any problems there at all. Until my Monday had gone by or at least I thought it did. The call that I had relied on didn’t happen. I called and rescheduled another time and I thought everything was fine. I was a few minutes early and I saw my stylist. So I figured no problem, she’s finishing up with someone. It was then that new associate introduced herself to me and I was to go with her to get my hair cut. MAN did I feel stupid! Like what did I do ? I thought the stylist that was cutting my hair for the last 6 months enjoyed our conversation. I guess not! So Thursday came and I received my follow up call for my hair appointment with the new gal.
