Had a procedure in January 21 of 2025. Was told that I needed to pay a $230 co-pay upfront before I could have the test done and I did so. I did question it because my health insurance stated I had a zero co-pay. At any rate, since then I have received an anesthesiologist bill a physician's bill on top of it. I spoke with my insurance company and they told me that I should've never had to pay the $230 that it was a zero co-pay that the other two bills are true and that I will have to pay those. I was very delighted with the services that they provided with the doctor the staff and nursing staff And the procedure is done. However, I spoke to my insurance carrier today when they informed me that that money should've never been taken and should have been sent back to my credit card. It has been 2 1/2 months now so they contacted the Center directly spoke with them and they were told that the money's been sitting there they see the error however it's going to take me 30 to 90 days to get that money back onto my card. So a total of 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 months to receive funds back that they overcharged to begin with. I feel that I should get interest for this.
