I had the pleasure of visiting Men's Warehouse in Amarillo recently, and I couldn't be happier with the outstanding service I received from Joe. I was in search of a classic black suit, and Joe's expertise and dedication made the entire experience truly exceptional.

Please note that neither store we worked with wanted to take ownership of the issues we experienced due to the âeffect it would have on their end of year bonusesâ; therefore, I will be leaving this same review for both the store we ordered from (Chandler, AZ) and the store we picked up from (Amarillo, TX)
I ordered modern fit suits for 9 members of our wedding party from the Chandler store. Then each member went to the store they were closest to for measurements and payment. I ordered modern fit because I wanted the boys to be able to wear their boots instead of the shoes that come standard with the suit. Four days before the wedding, my husband and I went to try on his tux. At this point we discovered that our entire wedding party look was changed from modern fit (boot cut) to âextreme skinny.â All of my paperwork and the online portal still said modern fit, and no one ever tried to contact us regarding the change. We were told âsomeone in corporate changed our order because they didnât think it would look good.â At this point the Amarillo store had to resubmit the entire order.
Two days before the wedding, I called the Amarillo store to see if the order was ready. The guy on the phone told me he was too busy to check, but I was more than welcome to come to the store myself and check each bag individually.
At this point it was too late to reorder if needed, and many of the guys had started to travel to the wedding destination. We had a member of the bridal party pick up all the reordered suits.
On the morning of the wedding, NOT A SINGLE SUIT FIT. The boys had to trade items among each other and safety pin the items in order to look halfway decent. I am almost certain the store just put whatever pair of pants they could in a bag regardless of size and called it good. (3 of the groomsmen used the same measurements for different events and didnât have any problems, so it wasnât a measurement issue)
As stated previously, neither store wanted to take ownership of the issue. We had to call corporate to get anything resolved. We were able to get a 50% refund on all the suits; however, we still spent a ridiculous amount of money on suits to receive a terrible product matched with terrible...
   Read moreLet me preface this with my personal experience: I shopped here for a suit for my senior prom. They asked for my budget and I said $500-$700. The staff member who was "assisting" me added on every possible accessory alongside the suit and shirts they recommended for a grand total of, and I quote, $697.43. They did not work with my budget, they wanted to know exactly how much money they could get out of me. And, shamefully, they succeed. However, I went back to return all the things I realized were not only expensive, but unnecessary. I had previously purchased four shirts for a deal of 4 for $125 and was told that I could come back exchange any of them at no additional cost given that I had already paid for a total of 4. Upon exchanging two shirts and returning a number of items totaling approximately $200, this staff member instead used the money that was to be returned to me to pay for the two shirts. I still had a total of 4 shirts, having already paid for them, and received, and I quote again, $3.97 for what was $200 in value. The management did not work with me and was under the impression that I was trying to get items for free, while the staff assumed I was just some poor kid. Now, I am NOT against shopping here. They have a great selection of comfortable suits and shirts.
However, DO NOT take the advice of any staff member. Go in knowing exactly what you need, what colors you want, and ignore whatever they try to tell you. "That won't match" or "This will look better". You don't need every accessory or those fancy wooden hangers and coat covers. Honestly, reject any assistance at all. If you need advice or guidance, look online in dress forums and color guides. They will tell you things like "I had a friend who loved this" or "A guest came in, regretting that he didn't buy this". I wish I had gone with a respectable adult or at least a more reasonable friend, but I didn't and I got screwed over. The best I can do is share this experience so that, overall, you can find what you want and need without the risk that a staff of pretentious, disrespectful retail employees will try to drain your pockets.
